CHAPTER TWENTY ONE.

"Give us a minute Flynn. Trust me on this one." Detective Lauren whispered to Detective Flynn.

"Are you sure?" Detective Flynn asked.

"Yes." Detective Lauren nodded, staring hard at Pearl. "I guess if this doesn't work then nothing else will." She was communicating in whispers with Detective Flynn.

"Okay. I'm outside." Detective Flynn said and left the room.

Detective Lauren pulled out a chair, sitting opposite Pearl.

"Let's get straight to business Pearl." Detective Lauren said.

"Let me guess, another round of interrogation?" Pearl asked. "Please let me go. I'm certain by now the school must have replaced me."

"I'll definitely let you go. All you need do is answer few questions."

"I have no business with Coco."

"Your diary says otherwise."

"It was written six years ago. For God's sake I didn't mean those things I wrote in there."

"Just answer my questions Pearl, will you?"

"Let me guess again, first question is, 'where is Coco'?"
