Chapter 108: This hole is sweet

The woman was already following him so I suddenly hid behind Adams. The woman laughed out loud because maybe she already knew how shallow Adams's wife was. Adams pulled me out of my hiding behind him and then put his arm around me. He hugged me and kissed the top of my forehead.

"She is my cousin, I told her to meet you when you are done resting but she still came with me here." He removed his chin at the top of my hair then turned to the woman. “She's Mylene, I planned to introduce her to you then, remember? But there was a problem with their company so she had to return to their country.”

The woman held out her hand to me and I just stared at it. I was ashamed of how I had treated her earlier. I am such a major turn-off! I didn’t take her hand because I was still ashamed of my attitude! Why did I do that?!

I was surprised when she took my hand and shook them together. My cheeks blushed and would have hidden behind Adams again but I couldn’t because they both stopped me.

"I won't be
