"Warren, Chet is just spouting nonsense. Don't listen to him. We have plans for lunch. We won't be joining you," Clara hurriedly said as she and Chet quickly retreated from Warren's presence.

Warren sensed something amiss. His suspicions grew as he watched them leave hastily.

Warren wondered why Chet knew something he didn't. When had he and Evelyn become acquainted?

He suddenly remembered the day Evelyn donated blood to Clara and pulled Chet aside for a private conversation.
