Warren rushed toward a stretcher, his voice nearly a growl. "Evie!"

Ethan immediately ran over hearing his voice. He grabbed hold of Warren and uttered, "Evie has severe bleeding and is unconscious. Her life shouldn't be in danger, but Simon is seriously wounded with a head injury. Both bodyguards are also critically hurt.

"Warren, you have to hold on. Evie needs you."

Warren choked, "Where is she?"

"Over there. The obstetrician is performing emergency first aid. Evie needs to be taken to the hospital immediately."

Warren had rushed toward the ambulance before Ethan could finish his sentence.

"Evie! Evie!" His voice grew hoarser with each call as if all his strength had been drained.

When Warren saw Evie lying on the stretcher with a breathing mask, covered in blood, he staggered back a few steps.

Ethan quickly caught him from behind and prevented him from falling
