Chapter 501

Looking at her son's expectant face, Jennifer couldn't bear to disappoint him. She pecked Albert's forehead and said gently, "Dad and I will let you sleep with us tonight."

Upon hearing this, Albert's eyes widened in pleasant surprise. "Really? I'm so happy Mom and Dad will sleep with me."

He kissed Jennifer's cheek and then grinned at Seth. "Dad, aren't you happy that Mom agreed to sleep with you?"

Seth pinched his chubby cheeks and laughed. "I am."

"Since you're happy, why don't you show it? You don't know anything. No wonder Mom doesn't like you."

After getting lectured by his son, Seth instantly understood what he meant. He leaned toward Jennifer and pecked her softly on the lips. "Thank you," he said tenderly.

Jennifer didn't react badly to it. She simply pulled Albert into her arms and covered him with the blanket, listening to Seth tell a bedtime story.
