“I'm scared…” My lips quiver as I look up at him and understanding dawns on his face but the words spill out my lips.

“I'm scared it will be like before, I'm scared that what happened before will—”

“Shhh, it's okay Josephine.” Jeremy draws back so I can look into his eyes and they're burning with intensity.

He rolls us over so he's on top of me and whispers in my ear.

I turn my face away so he won't see my blush.
