Doc walked into the waiting room and approached Tank and Ink. He motioned for them to follow.

“Brothers, come with me. Once she’s settled and they’re ready, we’ll bring the rest of you up.” Doc said and Isaac smiled at him.

The room filled with conversation as the three left. Doc led them down the hall and into the elevator. He waited until the other two were inside before pushing the button for four.

“Do you promise that she’s okay?” Ink asked after the doors closed.

“I do.” Doc grinned as the elevator moved upwards. “She’s being kept as a precaution.”

“For complications.” Ink said as the box stopped and the doors opened.

“Yes.” The PA agreed as he led them to room 403 by the nurse’s station. As they walked in, he smiled at the nurse as she charted the vitals. “Hey, Betty. This is Ink and Tank,” he pointed at each one in turn. “They are engaged to your patient.”
