Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View

The smell of barley spread across the room – clashing with the maple wood's scent. I'd never taken notice of these things, how ironic – I never thought I'd ever come to like this place. I slightly caress the dirty white sheets of the bed, "I hope I can come back here..."

The belongings I had to pack were inside a barely filled bag – almost half of them the very needed pheromone inhibitors, bandage, and a single set of clothing.

Before leaving the room, I left the steaming barley tea with a little letter next to it. Master Zonner's favorite blend was what I wanted to learn the most, however, I needed to uphold his dignity more than anything. At least what he lost was nothing significant...

"Nathan, you're always welcome to come back here," Mama Enah grasped my sides as she checked me from head to toe. Yannah was beside her whilst Kimur was clearly behind a pillar.

I could only smile as I nodded, "I'll definitely come back when I can."

"Make sure to stay healthy," Yannah remarked as she looked like she was about to cry.

Although I admit it was an emotional moment, I could only giggle uncontrollably as it was the first time I saw her like that. I didn't know she'd become so attached to me, to the point where she'd cry if I left.

"Yannah, we're still going to see each other from time to time," I chuckled, however, she hit my shoulders as her tears were uncontrollable at that point.

Kimur did say I was the first servant to last at least a month, all the others ran away for some reason. Something about Master Zonner being harsh on them, however, I seriously doubt it as I never saw Master Zonner get angry. He's been the kindest to me...

As we were standing together, making the most of the short time we'll be together,

"Mr. Nathan, it's time to go."

I waved goodbye as I was being taken away by the men Maximus sent to get me. Their faces were filled with sadness, for the very first time, I felt bad about leaving a place.

With the last turn I could do, I could see Master Zonner in his room – spectating as I left. I smiled, however, he was already looking down on his work...

"Maybe it was my illusion," I thought as I shrugged the thought off – turning my back for the very last time. Entering the huge golden halls of the Stylynx pack's ginormous castle. The epitome of a luxurious family, being slapped across the face of a mere orphan.

*******

"You'll stay here from now on, you can ask the head servant or the butler for your assigned station," the man curtly said as he walked away. Abruptly leaving without explaining anything.

Indeed, the youngest Alpha is a strange one – although I am glad he had denied having a mate, he still gives me hell through his oblivious and eccentric ways. An absolute womanizer, with various vices – he's just living like another spoiled son of a rich man.

I sigh as I sat on the bed, the bottom bunk of the first bed positioned by the bathroom. The comfort I had within Master Zonner's presence was completely gone as both my privacy and security are held in jeopardy here.

I hid the little stuff I had below the bed, and just in time – the men residing in the room entered. I sat straight as they all stopped what they were doing as they took sight of me, I immediately stood up to try to introduce myself.

"H-Hello, I'm Nathan," I spoke up – yet the room was filled with silence as they looked at me,

However, they ended up ignoring me – and I swear I saw one of them looking at me with disgust. I stood there as they all went to their beds, conversing like I wasn't there.

"They must've not heard me, right?" I tried to assure myself as I got ready to approach them again.

"I'm Nathan, what are you guys' names?" I asked, and finally one of them looked my way. The red-haired guy whom was in the middle of their circle earlier.

Instead of an introduction, all I got was a smirk, "Pfft, he was actually talking to us!"

And as if it was rehearsed, they all burst out laughing. Not wanting to waste any more of my energy, I stopped trying to interact with my new roommates.

Instead, with eye contact still being maintained – I proceeded to walk my way out of the room. They were all staring at me with eyes filled with resentment, "Keep it up, little assholes," I muttered as I closed the door behind me.

Knowing full well they heard me, I smirked as I walked away – getting ready to go to where the man had instructed me to go earlier.

"They resent you so much, yet they put all of their time and attention on you – why does it matter if it is affection or resentment?" I thought as I walked down the halls. Living through hell on earth, it never mattered to me – resentment or feelings of love – it's all the same, is it not?

Walking around the huge building,

"Where did I need to go again?"

*******

"Haa," I let out a huge sigh as I inhaled the foulest smelling dung in my life. I can't believe the youngest Alpha went out of his way to get me out of the habitat I was most comfortable in – for what? To make me clean shit all day every single day.

In addition to the shitty mess I have to deal with, shitty assholes have been relentless in making me lose my mind very slowly. It's been almost a month since I came here, and this is all I get.

I would have fared better brewing barley tea every hour...

"Hmm, Fargo – you're the only friend I have... although you are going to be eaten sooner or later," I muttered as I pat the humongous pig on his back.

And as if my life was laid out like a novel, the red-haired man – whom I came to know his name was Isaac – rushed with his little penguin squad. I bet they rehearse for their lines just for these moments.

"Hey, shit-eater!" I predicted what he was going to say as I whispered under my breath. He was taken aback, however, nothing could stop him from delivering his deliberate lines.

"Ehem, do my laundry," he said arrogantly as he walked away.

I frown, "That's it?" He went out of his way to walk an exact 1.12 mile to say shit like this...

However, I can only stay quiet – this guy was the same age as Yannah. Even though the said girl acted several years more maturely than Isaac, he acted like a complete bastard.

I rolled my eyes as I grunted, the bucket of manure already filled before I even knew it.

Isaac and the little cute penguins were still hanging out like little children with their sneaky glances and immature giggles.

"Natashian, you are dealing with children – always remember that," I thought to myself as I carried the bucket to dump it.

And as if time stopped, the sun was the last thing I saw. The bucket I had been carrying was in the air, the horrible smell of manure uncovered as everything flipped. Loud giggles surround me as the stench was nothing I could handle.

"Seriously, why did I not expect this?" was the last thought I had as my vision went black... maybe it was the manure overwhelmingly splattered on my face, I couldn't be too sure.

However, what I was sure about was that my vision was slowly failing me...

Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View "Barley...," The familiar smell overwhelmed me, stirring me awake. My eyes could barely focus, perhaps it was the sleeping nerves in my brain – but I could feel an electric feeling run through my brain as I caught sight of a familiar figure. I sat up, the slightly damp towel I hadn't noticed was on my head flew across the room. I could barely contain my shock... "M-Master Zonner," I stuttered, still thinking I was in a dream. He smiled as he put down the cup he was holding, "You're awake? I heard from Yannah that Isaac was giving you a hard time, she was quite furious when she heard about it..." I merely looked down, I couldn’t hold myself back – I blacked out and the last thing I knew was that my fists were already kissing their cheeks. I always knew I wasn’t the strongest wolf around, however, making me furious will always be a bad decision. “I-I’ll apologize, I didn’t expect things to turn out the way they did,” I cowered even more, the

Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View "Make sure you feel the flow," I nodded as I followed suit, closing my eyes as I focused on feeling the flow of mana. After Master Zonner asked to take me back, I was immediately pardoned and here I am – studying magic... as per Master Zonner's wishes. Although I can't complain, I'm still enjoying the lessons – in fact, it's what I look forward to these days. "You have great potential for a young werewolf, make sure to practice more," Mr. Kane suggested as he wrote some things down. I nodded as I stopped controlling the mana flow. Master Zonner immediately knew I had a weaker physical deposition in comparison to other wolves... Apparently, the wolves I beat up were the weakest trained wolves around – they said even the youngest Alpha at one year old could beat them up with his pinky finger. And I... fainted when I fought them. "Thank you for today, Mr. Kane," I escorted the teacher as he left the castle, he merely nodded as he rushed off.

Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of ViewWith the greatest attire Yannah could find, I was basically adorned with more pieces of jewelry than my Master. I had to force Yannah to take it off of me.As our Master's signature color, I had to wear a white suit with a blue inner shirt. And to be clear, I am currently wearing zero jewels on me – knowing Master Zonner, he wouldn't grace a jewel to be in his presence, it'd just hurt the thing's pride."Must be tough," was the only thing Kumir could say as he left Yannah with me.Indeed, it was tough – I had to tell her Master Zonner would be a laughingstock at the banquet if they saw how his attendant had more jewels than him. Ugh... I shiver just thinking about it."Are you sure you don't want these?" Yannah asked with a sad expression on her face – as if she was thoroughly sad about me not entering the banquet looking like a jewelry store model."Yes... yes, I'm sure," I insisted as I looked away from her hard-to-resist face. And as if on cu

For some reason, I chose to ignore it – my reputation can't get any more tattered than it is.However, when the Princess did what she did – I reckon it would be better for me. For months now, I've been way too busy trying to track down the woman by the alleyway. The moment my eyes landed on my mate's figure – I knew I wanted to get her.Since I came to know of her existence, her fragrant smell... just her everything – no other woman could satisfy me. No matter how filled my bedchambers were, none of them could give me the same ambiance. At this point, my brother has warned me as things could easily go sour – obsessions are the family's loophole, something we can barely control. As I got lost in my thoughts, a small head popped out of the other side of the fountain. I almost jumped, I thought it was a ginormous bug."What the fu-?!" I

Natashian Rynne Elboser's Point of View"Nathan, why are you so nervous?” He suddenly asked, both of his hands on either side of my side.My heart was beating out of my chest, I didn’t know how to react – I hated this feeling.“Maximus,” I almost flinched as I heard the familiar voice almost echo across the whole garden. It sounded strict and demanding, the voice of a true Alpha.Maximus immediately retreated the hand he placed next to my head – and I turn my head to see… Master Zonner. He was quickly approaching us with large and rapid strides. His usual calm and kind demeanor were covered by the frown he had on – he looked like he seemed like somebody whose prey was unrightfully snatched from him. I’ve never seen him act this way, not in the few months I’ve been here… not ever.“Brother,” he curtly spoke, his tone resembling an Alpha’s warning.I could only look on as two Alphas stood in front of me, they were facing each other with eye contact so intense – they looked like they wer

I’ve always been ill – from the day I was born, doctors couldn’t believe I’d even live past an hour. The Franklin Tree disease, that was what the name they gave it – as it was something they’ve never seen before. Sure, I was strong physically – however, there was just something wrong. Maximus Vethor Stylynx’s Point of View“Father, it can’t be true! It’s just illogical!” I exclaimed as I paced back and forth – truly not believing the current situation. How could somebody wage a war over something so irrelevant? My father merely sat in his office, silent as the people inside the room has been panicking for the past hour.“Youngest Alpha, it is not a bad idea to go along with the Princess’ wishes – as you have yet to meet your mate,” one of my father’s Betas suggested. I could only roll my eyes, I can’t be pushed around by a mere Beta.“No, I can’t do that,” I stubbornly stated – wearing an Alpha’s pride over my shoulder. They were all looking at me as if I was being immature again… not that I’m really immature. It’s just what they think, it’s not true at all.“Youngest Alpha, we are in the brink of war because of thi-,” before he could say anything else, I shook my head.“I have taken glimpse of my mate,” and with that statement – I could hear the most audible gasps

Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View “Nathan, take this along with you,” Mama Enah handed me a small bag – with an unreadable expression on her face. After all, her husband would also be going with us. I’ve also drained my savings once again with all the pheromone inhibitors I just obtained – I also got them for a lesser price… I bought them in bulk. “Are you starting a new store?” That was what the lady asked me as I bought them. I could only awkwardly smile and nod… I can’t tell them it’s all for me… “These don’t sell that fast, be careful not to lose money over this,” she advised as she made me sign the necessary paperwork. I couldn’t carry all of them so they had to deliver them to the castle. “By the way, Nathan – are you sure you need all of that?” Yannah asked – gesturing at the overly huge luggage I needed to carry. Barely a few clothes in, towels, a small pack of toiletries, and hundred and hundreds of bottles of pheromone inhibitors. Before I could even answer Yann

Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of ViewAs I stood behind the man who’s supposed to assassinate Master Zonner – I couldn’t help but show my utter distaste. I knew Master Zonner could see as he has been staring straight at me since I started monitoring the said man’s moves carefully.Compared to what my dream showed me, the man seemed eerily calm. He was way more erratic in my dream – shouting and screaming about his opinions on the matters discussed.“I am very appreciative of the efforts of the Stylynx pack, we have formed great bonds ever since the establishment of our respective packs.”‘Indeed, it is strange – is he hiding something under his cunning smirk?’However, time passed by slowly and the man hasn’t done anything out of the ordinary. ‘Any time now..,’ I thought as I kept my eyes peeled for any hostile movements.I didn’t even notice the intense gaze of Master Zonner right ahead of me – and by the time I noticed, he already had his hands on the table. His gaze looked like i

I slightly smiled, these touches are what I wake up in the morning for.Kimur had the nastiest glare aimed at me, I didn’t even bother to look at him. And for some reason, he’s on the opposite end of the table behind a random person I’ve never seen before. The sun was a hue of orange – it seems like the sun is about to set soon.It seemed like this is a meeting between Stylynx and Zensther…“We are the delegates to bring peace between Zensther and Stylynx.”Everyone had a serious look on their faces – probably wary of what the opposing pack is up to. Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View“Are you sure the assassin went out through the window?” Kimur asked once again as he mobilized the castle’s troops.I nodded – still slightly shaken by the situation. As they were looking around for the assassin – heavy footsteps could be heard getting closer and closer. I almost flinched as it was a little too loud.“Nathan?!”I was slightly relieved as I saw Master Zonner enter the office safe and sound – I immediately get closer to check whether he had any hidden injuries.“Master, are you sure you’re fine?” I anxiously asked as I tried to see underneath his clothes – something I thought was normal through the months I’ve been serving him. However, unexpectedly – he pulled away as he had his hand over his mouth. I was confused, it was that unusual reaction again. Why does he almost look like he’s flustered?“M-Master-?” Before I could say anything else – the situation seemed to have flipped over.“Nathan! News has come from Zensther,” the announcer was screaming out loud as the doors burst open.Almost everyone was wincing as they covered their ears – the ears of a wolf can be sensitive to sound. However, I’ve never had such problems… so I guess this lack in prowess is to my advantage as well.“How dare you-?!” The old man from earlier rose as he was frowning – he must’ve seriously wanted to lessen Master Zonner’s servants.Considering how every servant before me except for the Melgor family quit – it must’ve been because of them.“Alpha, the Zensther pack has officially conceded their defeat!” My eyes widened – confused yet overwhelmed with happiness.I look over to Kimur to somewhat confirmed the words

Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View“Why did you buy so much?! Can you even bring this to war?!” Maximus was already complaining as we barely reached the castle’s gates. He insisted on carrying it back himself – I’ve gotten used to it, I guess he’s a little weaker than me.“Can you at least try to suppress your vigor rather than buying all this stuff?”I looked back at him with widened eyes – what does he mean by vigor? “Nathan.”I flinched as I was already facing Master Zonner – he had an unreadable expression on his face. Fuck, did I come back too late? He’s probably going to scold me again…“M-Master?” I immediately pulled the pocket I was making Maximus carry as I smiled the best I could. He looked over at Maximus as he looked down at me, he mumbled something incoherent – something I couldn’t quite catch on. Damn, why do I have to have the weakest wolf instincts…“W-what was that, master?” I tried to ask again, however, he merely shook his head.“That was nothing – Nathan, ge

Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View I was too shocked to think beyond what Maximus just spoke of – I was already rushing into the busy market. “Nathan!” I could hear him shout as he chased after me – however, there were way too many people crowding around him. Fuck, why are you not working now? This unpredictable power just doesn’t work when I need it to, does it? I took one last look – Maximus was already being drowned away by the crowd. “Finally…” My hand was already on my chest, panting as I was finally away from him. I looked to my right as the darkness hovered over me – the familiar feeling of malicious intent was too strong to ignore. There stood several men, all donning a familiar smirk on their faces. The loan sharks that sold me off… they’re here. Hiding under the darkness of the slums, they were still doing the same old work – forcing unfortunate slaves to borrow a mere speck of gold. And in return, knowing slaves wouldn’t stand the chance to pay it back, they se

Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View“The youngest Alpha has new women lined up in his room again,” Yannah scoffed as she had me watch her hang the laundry. This was probably the reason Isaac started messing with me again – Yannah hires me as her bodyguard here and there while we’re yet to go back to war because as she said… “Isaac and his friends come here unannounced just to bother me.”“So what…? I’m glad he does…,” I mumbled as I picked apart the grass on the ground.Yannah audibly scoffs again – and even though I’m not looking at her, I just know she just rolled her eyes for the nth time.“What will happen to this pack when he replaces the Alpha? Man, why can’t they see how our Master clearly fits the position more?”I flinched as I looked around, shooting a warning glare at Yannah. That was way too reckless as the youngest Alpha has the most support – simple words can mean an execution.Yannah only chuckles as she goes on with what she was doing, “Nathan, you know that you’re

Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View “Oh no… what do I do?” I sat on the ground – scattered liquid soaking my boots. ‘Ha… they were new as well.’ For some reason, Isaac – the red monster, and his little friends decided to pester me the second they knew I returned. I thought they were already done with me – considering the last time they beat me up. “You’re just a pig leeching off of your Master – you’re a disgrace to all the servants in the castle,” that was what he said before walking away. I could only scoff miserably – these things cost me a lot. “All these pheromone inhibitors – I could’ve survived for the next month or so.” They had messed with the magical pocket Master gave to me, shook it a little and all the pheromone inhibitors came crashing down. All my other stuff are wet too… I couldn’t even bring myself to cry, I was simply numb inside – this felt like mere child-play compared to everything I’ve gone through. However, I can’t help but feel pity for them. “Well,
