89. Hearing His Side.

Lily's POV;

The next day after the twins' birthday, I woke up feeling cold and lonely. The other side of the bed was empty, and there was no sign of Blake.

Where did he go? He didn't even say goodbye or leave a note like he usually did. I felt a pang of hurt and worry as I sat up on the bed.

Was he mad at me? Did something happen?

I got out of bed and put on my cozy pink robe. I decided to check on our twins, Mason and Madison in their room. They were still sleeping peacefully in their cribs, unaware of their father's absence. They looked so adorable, with their curly hair and peaceful sleeping face.

I sighed softly while my mind reeled back to Darius's rude intrusion which threatened to ruin my babies birthday.

I wondered why he acted like that.

I immediately recalled Blake telling his side of the story about their fallout…
