Chapter 68

"Open the door for me, April," Jason whispered as I shuffled for the key in his back pocket.

We were standing outside the door. He was carrying me in his arms while I tried to grab the key. Once I got a hold of it I pulled it out. He leaned closer to the door and I smoothly unlocked it.

"You can put me down," I whispered but he shook his head adamantly while stepping inside as he kicked the door close.

"Oh, you guys are back," I stiffened hearing Ethan's voice and red tinted my cheeks in embarrassment as my arms around Jason's neck tightened. It completely slipped my mind that Ethan was at our place.

"What happened to her?" Ethan asked concerned while staring at my patched feet. "I…uh… slipped and got my ankle sprained," I mumbled.

"Why the hell are you out of bed idiot!" Jason grumbled as he walked inside and gently put me down on the sofa and turned to glare at Ethan who was chilling on the couch.

Maybe you should try writing a book and see how many chapters you can write and edit before posting. Most authors have other jobs. This isn’t their man job. They also have families to take care of. Stop being greedy. Go read a finished book and come back when this one is done.

love the book but their should be more sharing with April to Jason she hadn't told him about the bar and Leon saving Heather just putting a bandaid on and it just going to get it hurt again because something is up with them people around them
