Susan wore her clothes and stared at her reflection in the mirror. She was ready for hiking. Ethan would be there any minute now.

Ethan had stayed with her that night. He only left when Blair came back home and none of them told her anything.

Ethan had called her twice every day to ask if she was doing okay. He was considerate and caring.

Nathan hasn't shown up at the university and she wondered where he was. She had asked Ethan about it but he said she didn't need to worry about it and yesterday Nathan showed up at the university wrapped in bandages and whatnot. He only came to give an application and medical documents to get his one-month leave. Doctor told him to have bed rest for a month and when she saw him he also noticed her but Nathan avoided looking at her. He even seemed scared by her presence and she wondered why.
