Still Vinnie’s POV

“So what do you say, are you in or out?” I asked him. He’s been silent since I told him what I wanted from him. I guess he never thought I would be going after Nathan, instead of him. He just stood there, puffing his cigarettes, giving me a look that I could not find the meaning of.

“Fine, if that’s now you want to play it, then so be it. But don’t say I didn’t warn you because I’m not going to let you win!” I told him sternly as I turned around furiously, picked up my bag, and walked out on him. It’s been more than twenty minutes and he still refused to say anything to me. He just left me standing by his side, waiting for his response that wasn’t forthcoming. Maybe he actually wants me to beg him to help me get Nathan. I think he is forgetting that he wants Laura as much as I want Nate, so helping me is almost like helping himself. I won’t beg him because he is not worth it, I’ll just keep running his plans to be with Laura until he finally gives in to what I want
