“How did you find me?” I asked the lady standing behind me. I haven’t turned to look at her, but I can smell her favorite brand of perfume, I’ve been with her long enough to recognize that smell anywhere. She is not a stranger to me, in fact, she is supposed to be one of my best friends too, but she is making it so difficult for me to be around her these days. I’ve managed to avoid her when I left town three years ago. But now in back because of Laura and she is back also to mess with my life.

“Oh, come on, lover boy. I’m used to our system already. I know how this story always ends, First, you go to see Laura, and you end up coming back sad and furious because you weren’t able to confess your love to her. Then you wind up right here, in the bar, drinking pitifully until I arrive to take all your misery away.
