“Than was just delivering something…” Hector answers my subtle eye movement to him as I settle into his lap.

The tension from when I entered the room was only thickening, to the point of suffocating.

So this was his brother, the one that has usurped his pack…

His eyes hold a privileged look to them, especially when looking at me. Holding my chin high, I nestle into Hector’s lap more…I’m not completely there but as the days continue I was starting to accept our bond. Something telling me to show this male that we are united, that we are mates.

“Than…” I let his name roll off my tongue.

I didn’t recognise the face but maybe saying his name would stir a memory, but no, nothing.

Hector’s grip on me getting tightens. I turn my head behind to look at him, his eyes were solely focused on the male before us. He didn’t seem to like me being in here with his brother, they had some kind of history.
