Selena walked along the corridor with her hands on her lips, gently nibbling on her fingers.
It was something she did when she was frustrated and didn't know what to do.
Selena couldn't figure out who made the scratch on the dummy. She could easily fix her dilemma if she simply questioned the students, but she didn't want any other Noble family to attract such a student's attention.
'A disciple'
She had been looking for someone to teach her sword style to. And Selena had identified the ideal individual for the job.
If she asked the students directly about it, every other noble family would find out. And the support of a great noble family would undoubtedly be more valuable to any student than a single Swordmaster.
Thank you!
"Well, we don't really need to be concerned about other groups killing more monsters than us, do we?" Henry made a comment."The kills and awards only bait. How many monsters do you believe a group can kill in a mystic rank dungeon? Perhaps 5 at most. If it's goblins, there may well be 50 to 100 of them."When Henry realized what the academy was up to, he nodded."Don't forget, they didn't say anything about students fighting with each other. So it might be acceptable, and no one will ever know. What happens in the dungeon remains in the dungeon."“Ah! Yes, I see. This is an excellent opportunity to eliminate competitors!""Well, in any case, let's go find some people to create a group with first."
Eliza and Sia entered the sword shop. It was the only shop in the market that sold sword techniques. "How come there's such a massive market and just one shop provides sword techniques?" Eliza muttered, holding something that appeared to be fried in her palm and happily devouring it. Sia couldn't help but groan as she remembered the shambles this girl had made on the way; she was too finicky. But it was just a coincidence that everyone else was busy today, and Eliza asked her to accompany her to the market. She agreed because she needed to buy supplies for the dungeon. Potions, maps, water, and a few tools will be useful during the dungeon run. Entering a dungeon meant spending at least a week there, and this time it was absolutely necessary to stay for longer periods of time. Elia would never reach the top if she wasted time going back and forth between the dungeon and her dorms. She was holding a bag with items that did not fit inside her dimensional storage. "Let's not waste
People that came to the shop shrieked and screamed, but none of them was stupid enough to flee. Aside from regular folks who spend their entire lives in the black market, the majority of the people here were students. If anyone fled towards the exit, only death awaited them. That was the location of the intruder."Get inside! Don't go anywhere!" Sia yelled. People naturally followed her words, because being distinguished made things simple.People would be hesitant to believe his or her words if he or she appeared to be ordinary and weak.I gazed at the beast, who was slowly approaching the shop. I could hear shouts here and there, which suggested that the entire black market, or at least a portion of it, was being attacked.
After dramatizing my dramatic fall to the ground, I stood back up again. Because this is just not me.What's the point in trying to act weak. I have many other ways to explain what I did to this...monster."Huff...That was close." Henry lied down on the ground as he breathed deeply.I walked close to the body.It was a mess, half of the body has been obliterated with little to no parts left for me to even look at. I can't help but be proud of how strong I have become.Just a simple combination of two moderately basic skills turned into a deadly skill that could destroy a monster like this. I was about to walk up to the corpse when I noticed pe
I was walking back towards the dorm while Henry and Eliza were taken to the infirmary. He had been severely battered, but he will be alright after the healer has treated him. Unfortunately, I cannot just heal him with my ability. It would be strange for a warrior to have a healing ability.I was walking down the corridor when I remembered something that happened a few seconds before."Hey, thank you very much." Eliza finally spoke up. She remained on the ground. It genuinely surprised me that she said that, because with her entrenched superiority ego, I felt it was impossible. But I suppose those myths about heroes rescuing princesses have some reality to them. There was no way a person would undermine someone who had saved t
The news travels quickly.Despite the Academy's best efforts to keep information about a sudden attack from reaching the public's ears, it eventually did.As a result, they had to release the official information to the various powers in order to deter them from coming straight up to the academy to take their children's back.According to the inquiry, a new type of monster attacked the Academy's black market section. Comprised of a creature with strong physical and magical defences. The Academy believes the monsters were brought in by a third party, and an official hunt has begun."Are you going to be okay?" A piercing but anxious voice could be heard."Yes, father. I have to leave soon. The dungeon will shortly be open." Eli
"Huff, am I running late?" Eliza rushed towards the enrollment building."No, you're right on time.""Yes, I see. Did you happen to see Riel come over?"Luke and Lance exchanged strange looks with Eliza, who had unexpectedly inquired about Riel."Wait...what?""Nothing. He did come over earlier. He has, however, already left. What's the problem?" Luke inquired."That's OK. The payment for slaying the monster was given to me, but it was intended to be divided with the others." Eliza was concerned. She couldn't express what she was thinking or what her father had told her before.'Bring that
-Swoof.A sword dug into the scorching dry ground and became buried in it. There was blood smeared all over it, and even some blood could be seen hardening.Henry dropped down for a breather, his hands on his sword pressed to the ground. But before he could even gather his breath, a shadow dashed towards him from behind."Shit."-Thrust -Thrust.He immediately rose up, ready to deflect the attack, but he was halted when he noticed two white lines across the monster's torso before its heads slid off perfectly."Don't take a break now," Moritz advised.Even he was exhausted.
