I had woken up with an excessive amount of pain in every corner of my body. My head hurt the most. My skin was on fire and i was having trouble clearing my vision.
I looked around me as every thing started to become normal again. I was still in Ming's bathroom with a tick duvet wrapped around my smallish frame.
Ming!
I jumped up quickly and actually took in my environment when the memory of the previous event came up to me.
Other than the thick duvet wrapped around my body, I was still on the same water soaked camisole and tight i had been wearing earlier. The cuffs on my wrists were still hanging there loosely with cuts and little washed blood that proved my struggle in pulling them off the hook.
The tap were Faye had connected my wrist to was busted. I could see the material that was stuffed into the busted hole where the water was supposed to
I quickly picked up my hoodie and jeans with panic. Forcing them through my legs i grabbed my phone and rushed out of the room."Where are they?" I asked Jaime who looked much more calm than he should."Rock hospital." I cursed when I almost lost balance and fell. Jaime quickly helped me up before i could fall and cause more damage to my body. "Maybe you should stay back Deanna, I'll go and take care of everything.""No. "I did not have time for that. I did not have time for anything. Lilith said something about Ming when she appeared to me, what it was more than just a vile concussion like Faye had told him over the phone?I needed to start helping and not hurting, and staying home crying for my friend was not going to help anything or anyone so i had to go. It was non negotiable.
There is so much to life that people do not understand. So many things of an outstanding future that we do not have any idea of but instead misguide our opportunities of a life time.I was not in any category of the negligent but i wasn't given a choice. I was bonded... Again, hooked to a wooden chair that was giving me more back cramps than i already had before and having my life on a thread every single day.
Her words registered in my brain. My heart rate accelerates and I try to control my breathing.Hunter....Huntress....I shut my eyes for a second trying to plead with th
I am pretty sure that this young woman must have been tired of how deeply my eyes had been burning into her face. She looked bored, almost completely expressionless as she kept on twirling with the weird looking pocket knife in her hands. She paused and looked up at me. Her eyes cold with a deep void that could almost be missed."You said she was infected by a demon's venom. If that's t
It took just the blink of an eye. One minute I was tied up in that cabin in the middle of nowhere and now I had been standing in the exact same hospital room where i had been dozed and kidnapped.I tried to understand how that was possible, but it just did not make any sense. Five seconds ago I thought I was going to die or something. '- okay don't judge, I know you all are probably tired of me always thinking I'm going to die, but seriously-'
Just like every other time that we had met, he had on a different type of suit, except this time he did not look quite as organized. The blazer was hanging on one side of his shoulder with one of his hands holding on to it and the other shoved deep into his pants pocket. His white dress shirt was left untucked with the first few buttons at the top flying unhooked which exposed the glow of his skin to the beauty of the moonlight.I tucked my phone back into my pocket, wrapped my arms around myself to create warmth from the cold and looked back up at him after having my fill of admiring his rough but sexy look, only to watch as his brows crease as he proceeded to walk closer to me."Here" he said, spreading his huge blazer around my shoulders as a sweet gesture to shield me from the cold which I was really grateful for."Thank you." My voice came out very softly as i watched him watch me with a nod in response to my appreciation. For a moment he did not take his hands that were still hol
I could feel it. The darkness swarming around me. It was suffocating, the last thing that could ever relate to begin pleasant. I was slowly chocking on the pressure around me. It was empty and dark as always. Nothing or no one around, yet it felt like I was drowning deep deep down in an ocean. An ocean of despair. She had to be here. She was so close i could feel it. I could feel her presence around me even though I could not see even the shadow that she did not have.
She stud there silently drinking in my appearance, then a heavy sigh escaped her lips as she took hurried steps and embraced me in a light hug. She cupped my face between her hands and kissed my forehead lightly, a faint smile forming on her lips."When did you get home?""Early this morning." I replied watching her cautiously. There was an edge to her features. She looked slightly u
