“How are we out? I just bought some two days ago?” Regretting it the moment he said it.
“That was two days ago. Do you want me to starve? Listen, if my daughter didn’t marry you, you wouldn’t be able to eat what we are eating in your lifetime. Get some steaks. I’m now in the mood for steak.”
“Yes, mom, I just finished. I’ll run by and grab some steak for tonight.” It was all he could do to answer her.
“Humph.” That was all she replied when she hung up.
Blake could only smile as he looked at his phone and put it away. He went to his car and drove to Elon Delivery Services for his daily pay, or getting steaks for his wife and mother-in-law would have been troublesome. With the bit of money his wife supplies him each week, he had to depend on his pay to accommodate their desired food and daily upkeep.
Arriving, he gave his pleasantries to Sara, received his pay without delay, and left for the grocery store. Coming home, he saw his mother-in-law on the couch watching her program. He greeted his mother-in-law as he walked toward the kitchen.
“I’m back. I’ll start dinner as soon as I put the groceries away.”
‘Humph, trying to starve me is all you are good at. Hurry with dinner. Claire will be here any minute from work. That girl works too hard. Why did she have to marry trash like you? She could have been served hand and foot if only she had married into the Andersons.”
Julie berated Blake as soon as he entered, and she always reminded him that he would never be better than Steve Anderson. She wanted Steve as her good-son-in-law.
“You know Steve went out of state to branch out the family business, and he’s now the director of the real estate branch over in Missouri. Now there is someone who shows promise. I will never understand that old man’s thinking in letting you marry my sweet daughter.”
Blake had endured this since he got married, and he got used to it and didn’t even comment, and he just continued preparing dinner. When it was almost finished, Claire walked into the home, took off her high heels, and flopped onto the couch with her head held back and her eyes closed.
“Blake, what am I not seeing? How could you be so slow.”
Blake ran into the living room with a nice chilled glass of red wine that he had prepared for his wife when she got home. She would drink wine before her meal and unwind from her workday.
“Sorry, my dear, I was preparing the last part of the meal when you walked in. Here’s your glass already chilled for you.”
“Humph, I don’t know what I will do with you.”
Claire responded to him, holding the glass in one hand and swirling the liquid to allow it to breathe. Blake then turned on his heel and went back into the kitchen to finish dinner.
“Claire dear, did you hear about Steve? He went to Missouri and started a branch for Anderson’s business. Oh, why couldn’t you have been sooner in getting that man.” Said Julie as she sat next to her daughter, looking at her expression of shock.
“When did this happen? Why didn’t he let me know?”
Claire had asked her mother. Claire has been secretly seeing Steve since her marriage. They would sneak around, have meals with each other, and walk in the park, getting gifts from him, just like a married couple.
“I just found out this afternoon. His mother had called to give me the news. He left just last night, something about a merger at that branch, and it was very sudden.”
“Dinner is served. Please come and get it while it’s still hot.”
Blake had just entered the dining room with the meals when mother and daughter stopped talking.
“I’m not hungry right now. I’ll go into my room for now.”
Claire got up, left the area, went into the room she and Blake shared, and locked the door.
“Mom, what’s with Claire? Is she not feeling well?”
“She’s just tired, is all. She must have had a rough day today. I’m sure she will eat later, and who’s your mother? Please could you refrain from calling me that?” Julie had sat down to eat, still staring down at Blake.
Claire had gone into her room and sat on the bed. She looked on her phone, and there were no messages from Steve that day. Claire felt depressed and alone at that moment, and the tears started to fall heavily, throwing herself onto her pillow. While she was crying, her phone lit up, and she received a text from Steve. Seeing this, she wiped her eyes, and with excitement, she looked closely at his text.
‘Claire, I had to fly to Missouri to handle the business, and I will be here for the full duration of the crisis. Please forgive me for not calling or texting you, but I have been busy.’ Steve.
‘It’s quite alright, dear. I know you are busy with the company. Please keep in touch. I miss you and love you.’ Claire.
Claire texted back as she laid back down, looking back at his text, feeling lonely.
Steve had just received Claire’s text back when a slender arm wrapped around his chest and tried to pull him from his side position in the bed.
“Hold on, let me put my phone away, dear, then we can continue. Okay, so, where were we?”
Steve had turned over and looked at the beautiful woman’s face as she smiled lovingly into his eyes. She was the daughter of a business partner looking to merge with Steve’s company. She caressed his cheek and gave him a passionate kiss on the lips.
“Dear, who did you just text?”
“Don’t you worry, it was just work? They can’t do anything without me, and I had to confirm the transactions from today.” He lied to her and replied by kissing her back.
After finishing their meals, Blake returned the dishes to the kitchen and cleaned up when Claire entered the dining room.
“Blake, I’m ready for my meal; please serve it to me.” She said, walking out of their room and sitting by the dining table, waiting for him to serve her meal.
Blake then took her dinner and warmed it up in the microwave oven. After it was warmed up, he brought it in front of Claire.
“What took you so long? Do you have any sense of time? Why did you make me wait for so long?” Claire stated as she looked at her steak that was reheated. She was upset about Steve and wanted to vent her anger on Blake.
“Princess, if you had been here when it was done, you wouldn’t have had to wait for me to reheat it for you.”
“Don’t you talk to my daughter like that? You should be grateful that she can tolerate the slop you feed us daily.” Julie had said from the couch, watching her program. “I’ll go washup,” Blake replied as he headed to the bathroom to shower off the day’s work. “Humph, the nerve of him, how could he talk to you like that? I will give him a piece of my mind when he gets out.” “Mom, don’t bother. Once trash, always trash. Just let it go, and I’m not in the mood right now.” Blake finished cleaning up and headed into his and Claire’s room for the night. He had to sleep on the floor for almost two years while she slept on the bed with a knife under her pillow. He could hear his wife tell her mother that she would wash up and head to bed. A half-hour later, he listened to his wife open the door, get into bed, check for her security, and finally fall asleep. The following day, Blake starts his routine like clockwork and chores and makes breakfast for the two women. When it’s finished, he
“Well, you better get into the game and watch for Claire. We both know she’s better than you, but she’s still just a woman. The old man surely will not give the CEO position to a woman, so you better perk up and see what you can do.” Quinton exclaimed back as he slapped the desk, startling Henry back up. “Dad, I don’t understand. How can we allow her to lead a team to Elon Trust’s investment? She already tarnishes the family by marrying that trash delivery guy.” Henry asked, still holding onto his aching head. “Well, weren’t you the one who insisted that she and her department take up the challenge?” “It wanted to humiliate her. How can anyone get to see Mr. Wheaton, much less invest with Elon Trust? Now, she will make the company look bad and make the family a laughing stock.” “Well, it’s too late now. Everyone knows we are seeking an investment with Elon Trust, and she’s now our only hope.” Quinton said as he turned towards the door, leaving Henry to ponder his mistake. Quinton
Tabitha got into his car with all smiles looking upon her new brother. The drive was not long, and their conversation surmised her life at the college and how she lived in the dorm without any breaks during the pandemic, almost like they were in prison. No one could leave or enter the campus; it was in total lockdown. When they arrived, Tabitha quickly got out of the car, ran to the door, and let herself in while Blake lagged, carrying her bags. Entering the home, Blake saw Tabitha hugging her mother and kissing her face like a child would do when they hadn’t been home for a while. “Girl, will you calm yourself down. You’re behaving like a little girl. Who would guess that you are twenty this year.” “Oh, mom, I just missed you so much. That school kept us cooped up for practically all year, and I couldn’t come to visit you or my sister. I even missed my brother and sister’s wedding. How unfair is that.” “What are you gapping about? What brother are you talking about? This piece of
“What do you know? You’re just a kid. When will you grow up? This marriage is a farce. There is no love whatsoever, and there will never be.” Claire had flared up and explained. Listening to her sister’s explanation, it sounded like she never gave him a chance and was too stubborn to see his good qualities. Tabitha felt sorry for Blake for enduring the hardship her mother and sister had put him through. “Well, if you don’t want him, I guess I will have to take him. I see a lot of potential in Blake, and I believe he will prove both of you wrong and do great things in the future.” Both mother and sister looked at each other and laughed, not only for what she had said but also for being a naive child. “Oh, Tabby, what nonsense. I don’t believe that man can ever amount to anything other than being a deliveryman and work the rest of his life doing just that, once trash always trash,” Claire stated. “I agree. He will always be trash.” Stated her mother to Tabitha. Just then, the door
“Well, for one, you never asked, and second I don’t boast of my military background.” Blake was annoyed at them, not believing he was in the military. So, he took out his old private rank ID from the army and handed it to his mother-in-law. She looked at the card and handed it over to Claire without saying a word. Being in the military was indeed a big thing for these women, and they were patriots, after all. “So that’s why you were able to trounce Steve. No wonder you know how to fight so well.” Claire stated while handing her husband’s card back to him. “Steve, who’s Steve, and why did brother fight with him?” “Steve is my fian… the heir of the Anderson family. He wanted to marry me also, got into a fight after I married Blake.” “Sounds like a dick to me, trying to get you after you’re married. He doesn’t have any honor or morals like my brother here, and you’re better off for what I can see.” “You’re not to slander Steve. He’s way better than this trash in front of me, and h
Blake drove for two hours and arrived at his destination; it was still early in the night when he arrived at a large manor. He slowly pulled to the gate and waited for the guard to come out of the small guard shack. The guard came to him and asked for his purpose. “Please inform the headmaster that Blake Elon has arrived and wishes an audience.” “Please wait right here. I shall inform them now.” The guard rushed into the building and made a direct line call to the main building. “The young master has arrived; he wishes to see the headmaster.” Waiting for confirmation, the guard finally walked back to Blake and waved him through the large iron gate that squeaked as it opened up for him. Blake continues to drive to the main entrance. Lightly tapping Tabitha, she awakens from her sleep. “We’re here. Let’s head out.” “Hugh, oh, yeah, okay.” Tabitha unknowingly looks out the car window and is greeted by an older person standing next to it, opening the car door for her. Gliding out
“You, like this plain ring? There’s no design or writing upon it. So this is the inheritance ring?” Blake couldn’t understand how a plain ring would look beautiful to his sister and much less be treasured.“My boy, don’t judge everything on the surface. Put it on and see if the ring fits. It may be too large for your finger.” Robert said, looking at the ring’s size and having a worried look.“Brother, maybe you can use it as a wedding ring so that no one will be suspicious of it.”Blake then placed the ring on his ring finger on his left hand. At first, it seemed that it indeed was too large for his finger, but within a split second, it fitted snuggly on, like it was perfectly made for him. Robert smiled, and the worried look he had shown earlier melted away.“Well, my boy, it looks like it was made for you.”Blake looked at the ring, which had a faint glow under the light when he reexamined it. With a smile, he thanked his grandfather.“Thank you, grandfather. I will cherish it alway
Jenkins prepared everything that Robert wanted him to do. The family all received the information to return to the prominent family’s home. If anyone lagged in their appearance, they would be removed from the family. The succession of the head of the family will be announced at the banquet tomorrow night. When Jake received the text, he furrowed his brow and informed his assistant to prepare the private jet for departure and that he was going home.‘Well, the old man has finally decided to hand over the family to me. It’s about time. Even though he was disappointed when that crappy ring didn’t fit, he’s been pressing for me to work harder.’ Jake thought to himself as he sat in the limo headed towards the airport.“Fred, when should I arrive back home?”“Sir, if all is well by the time we arrive at the airport, we should be arriving approximately three am, four at the latest. Sir, why the sudden change in plans?”“The family is hosting a banquet tomorrow night, during which the new hea
Roseline could have sworn that she had misheard her Grandfather.“There is no return mission, so will all those people?” Roseline asked.“It’s been decided that they will be eliminated when their worth is no longer needed, or if they can ascend again, the Heavenly Tribulation will be used to the max and destroy them without a soul to return,” Harold said, looking at Roseline.“Well, you are now back, and they will not be used in such a manner. You can stop them.” Roseline said, looking like a heroine.“It’s too late. They have already descended and are waiting on the sign to attack.” Harold said, disheartened.“Already? How many?” Roseline asked.“As many as a million strong. They are in a remote area, keeping a low profile, not even releasing their auras due to a powerful individual who showed himself, so they will not be discovered until the destructive force arrives.” Harold said, shaking his head, depressed for what he had allowed to be done through being controlled.Roseline thou
When Roseline hit the wall, she spat up some blood; this was the extent of the power he released. Roseline did not fare too well when her Grandfather released his power onto her. Realizing what he had done, he calmed himself and rushed to her.“Rosaline, my child, see what you have made your Grandfather do?” Harold said, looking at her.Fear was seen in her eyes for the first time as she looked upon her Grandfather. This man had always treated her with kindness and love. Right now, she didn’t even know who he was.“You are not my Grandfather!” Roseline yelled out at the old man. This made him step back suddenly in surprise and then regain his composure.“What are you saying? I’m indeed your Grandfather. Why are you saying such a thing?” Harold asked.“My Grandfather would have never used his power against me. He would never have locked me up and sealed my cultivation. You are not my Grandfather but an imposter!” Roseline cried out.“Alas, the little things always give it away,” Harold
When the morning sun rose, Blake and Xunalu arrived back at the Chai estate, one walking proudly and another with a bit of a limp.“Blake, you’re back.” Claire proclaimed. “What is wrong with you?”“He twisted something?” Xunnalu said, walking fine.Laughter was heard from Claire as she winked at Xuanlu.“Stop, it’s fine. Never mind; you will only tease me. We will leave for a while to rendezvous with the Emperor. Will you all be alright here?” Blake asked as he straightened himself more.“Sure, we will continue with Yuneer and Chen’s cultivation lessons. As their teacher, I’m doing all of the teaching.” Claire said, looking at Blake, who was always going off and not teaching his pupils.“A great leader always directs those who do a better job than himself.” Blake cheekly replied.“Humph, this is how you can never be working over at Elon Conglomerate, right?” Claire stared at him.“Uhm, Jake is a better CEO than I would ever be, and even though he will be stepping down soon, I have so
Blake looked upon himself, drenched in Xuanlu’s love nectar, and couldn’t believe she could give Nancy a run for her money. He watched as she convulsed in bed, not attempting to stop the pleasure she was receiving. After calming down from the high she had received from Blake, she looked at him with complete shyness.“I’m sorry. I couldn’t control it.” Xunalu apologized.“It’s quite alright. It’s fine, I actually enjoy this.” Blake said as he dripped in front of Xuanlu. “Let’s continue.”“Augh, right, you didn’t,” Xuanlu said, realizing. “But I don’t know if I can continue.”“Are you in pain?” Blake asked, placing his hand over her pelvis to see if, through their roughness, they had torn anything other than what had to be torn.“No, it’s. Are you sure, look at you?” Xuanlu asked, seeing Blake still drenched in her nectar.“If you feel uncomfortable, we can wash and then continue,” Blake said, looking at Xuanlu. Who was contemplating biting her lower lip, wanting to continue, but Blake
Xuanlu looked on and sighed. She was his wife, and she approached him, sitting shyly beside him. Blake then handed her a glass, and as he poured the contents from the bottle, it began to sparkle and bubble.“This is called champaign. We use it for celebrations. Think of it as wine with bubbles.” Blake explained that he didn’t bring wine but a more celebratory drink.“Oh, like your sodas?” Xuanlu asked, taking a sip and enjoying the bubbles tickling her nose.“Yes. Something like that.” Blake giggled.“Come have some fruits; I’ll feed it to you,” Blake said, grabbed a strawberry, and placed it before Xuanlu’s mouth.Xuanlu took the sweet berry, enjoyed the sweet and tart flavor, and smiled as a bit of juice dripped from her mouth, causing Blake to lean over and kiss her while devouring the juice from the corner of her mouth.Xuanlu became heated under the influence of Blake, and her hands began to roam on his body as they kissed. She couldn’t control herself as the instincts began to
Blake was silent for a while, and Xunalu allowed Blake to guide her out of the estate. When they arrived at the entrance of the ancestors’ fields in the back mountains, Xuanlu froze, not moving a step further.“Where are you taking me?” Xuanlu asked in a panic. This was the entrance to the ancestor’s fields, and she was never allowed to enter.“I want to show you something; it’s fine; I’m the____previous owner of this land,” Blake said, pulling Xuanlu along the entrance.“Blake, I’m not supposed to,” Xunalu said, still hesitant to enter; it had been instilled into her that she could never enter such a forbidden area.“Relax,” Blake said and remained silent for their travels. When they reached the trail’s end, it opened up to an incredible sight. The lush trees, grass, and mountains along the sides of the valley made it look like a wonderland. Xuanlu forgot her worries as she gazed upon the valley. There in the middle were ruins of a forgotten palace.Blake let her soak in the beauty b
Xuanlu took her hands away and found Claire, Sylvia, and Helen were in the room with her. With a leap, she exited the tub and rushed into Claire’s arms, wetting them both as she cried even more.“I’ll go and teach him a lesson,” Sylvia said and was about to leave and confront Blake.“No!” Xuanlu cried out, stopping her. “It’s my fault. I was not prepared for him and, and….”“And what?” Helen asked, confused.“We didn’t do anything. He needed to cultivate last night, and I watched over him. Still, I fell asleep, and this morning, when I awoke, I found him lying next to me and kicked him out of bed. I was confused and disorientated and forgot I was married to him; when we were kissing, a letter from the Emperor arrived, and he went to wash. I wanted to wash his back, but when I reached for the sponge, he placed me into the water with my dress on, hiding his body from me, and he…” Xuanlu spoke about what had happened to the three women.“What? Did he take advantage of you?” Sylvia asked
Blake Two opened his eyes, and a glint was seen within. He had become stronger with this change, which was shown by releasing his aura. The women surrounding his chambers could feel the fluctuation, and they became startled and entered quickly.“Blake, are you alright?” Huo asked with concern.“I’m fine. You don’t have to worry. Your husband is stronger now.” Blake said and left the bed where he was cultivating. “Prepare to meet some guests.”“Guests? From where? Ling asked, following Blake out of his chambers.“From Hell of coarce,” Blake replied and gave them a smile.Blake Prime awoke from his cultivation and looked over to where Xuanlu lay. She had tried to stay up, but the wedding had taken a toll on her, and she fell asleep. Slowly moving his body, trying not to wake her, he positioned himself beside her to watch her sleep.“AUGH!” a cry came, and suddenly, Blake was kicked and lying on the floor from his position on the bed.“Why are you here?” Xuanlu asked with the covers up t
The pinpoint light began to increase and become more prominent. The light pulsed with significant energy to make even the three Blakes fear it. A swirling motion began within the bright light, and an elder walked out. He was muscular, had a full head of long white hair, and wore a white robe with a golden sash around his waist. When he came through, his eyes became wide and astonished.“Three with Origin Energy and Triplets to boot. My luck is worth it from all of my travels. You three, how are you here? This dimension has not been created yet.” The elder called out to the three Blakes.“Sir, we happened to come in through a stone stele. My name is Blake Elon from Earth, and these two are my clones.” Blake Prime anounced.“Stone stele? Stone stele? No, no, no, this is impossible, but then again, you hold Origin Energy within you, so it could be. You say you came from a stone stele? Where?” The elder questioned as he rambled.“Sir, it formed when the Power of Origin and Faith united wi
