“What the hell? Blake. Did you walk over here?” Daren asked, startled as he hung up his phone.

“Evening Helen, a black coffee for me, please,” Blake stated when he sat beside Daren, patting him on the shoulder. “And yes, in a way.”

“Humph, as rich as you are and still walking, if I had the wealth you have, I would be flaunting it with stretched limousines and bodyguards,” Daren stated, sipping his drink.

“Now we both know we don’t need bodyguards. Hell, we are bodyguards.” Blake chuckled.

“Man, that shit you had me lie in hurt to high heaven. But I have found that my skin has become much more nourished and tougher, but smooth at the same time here feel.” Daren said and grabbed Blake’s hand for him to feel his face.

“Quit it! I don’t swing that way!” Blake called out, pulling his hand away from his buddy’s grip.
