“Now, tell me a little about yourselves.” Blake began their conversations.

Koran looked at Nancy, and with a slight nod, she gave the go-ahead to Koran.

“As you already know, the Grayson family has a condition that they must go through a few trials before inheriting the family’s blessing. I met Nancy in college, and we hit it off right away; been besties ever since. She’s from an ordinary family and is very bright, gaining a scholarship. As for me, let’s just say if it weren’t for her, I probably would have failed the first trial by not graduating. We currently work in the Capital under one of your departments.” Koran stated.

“Oh, and what department?” Blake asked, taking an interest.

“The finance department. We’re both accountants and partial shareholders. We saved our bonus for the past two years for this vacation. Who would have guessed we would have run into our boss?” Koran said, sipping her water.

“Koran and I scraped all of our savings into this vacation; fate was looking out f
