Chapter 268

A man in his late fifties arrived next to Crystal, kissed her on the cheek, and held her by the waist smiling. He looked at Claire, and she could tell he had lustful thoughts by ogling her body.

“Claire, this is Revis Sermon, my boyfriend. He’s the CEO of Fredrics Furniture store out on Main and the largest dealership in Swanville.” Crystal boasted.

“How do you do,” Revis said, extending his hand to Claire in greeting but holding it longer than usual when they shook.

“Blake, dear. Could you come over?” Claire asked Blake as he placed his cup on the side and went by her side.

“Yes,” Blake said casually.

“Blake, this is my old roommate from college Crystal Taylor and her boyfriend, Revis Sermon. He’s the CEO of the furniture store on Main, and this is Blake, my husband.” Claire explained.

“How do you do,” Blake said, extending his hand in greeting to Revis, but Revis never extended his in return.
