Chapter 203

After purchasing their items and accessories, they went to the beach. Changing in the changing booths arranged throughout the boardwalk, they emerged, ready for the fun day. The sun was shining over the lapping waves as it hit the beach’s edge, and the heat made them enjoy the cool ocean breeze. They made their way to an isolated spot on the beach and placed their towels on the warm sand. Blake centered a large umbrella for the girls to get out of the sun when needed. Blake began putting sunscreen on Sara after she asked for his help. She was still mortal and, being a fair-complected woman, would burn quickly with the sun’s rays. Blake left Tabitha and Sylvia to themselves as he looked out into the ocean. People were swimming and having a good time while a few surfed in the massive waves further out.

“Have you ever surfed?” Sara asked Blake while he was looking at the many people out surfing.
