“Yes, you go back,” Tabitha replied, holding his hand as he was about to leave.

“Oh, what kind of husband would I be if I didn’t give a farewell gift,” Blake said at the door, retrieved his mother’s diamond and ruby necklace, and placed it on her.

“No, Blake, I couldn’t! It’s for….” Tabitha exclaimed.

“You. Don’t be stubborn. She wanted you to have it, and now I’m giving it to you. Think of it as a good luck charm for your exams.” Blake said, smiling.

Without warning, Tabitha reached out and held Blake’s neck and gave a deep and passionate kiss that lasted long as their tongues intertwined with each other and were only broken when Heather interrupted them.

“Will you two get a room? We single people have to live here too.”
