Aiden

AIDEN NOTICED RUDOLPH trying to speak but shutting himself up each time he opened his mouth.

"Go ahead, Rudolph," Aiden urged.

"I don not think you should tell King Lennon about the alliance plans. I have a bad feeling about him," Rudolph said quietly as if fearing that someone might hear him.

Aiden chuckled at his worry. "Do not worry about that, I decided not to tell him about it.

"I have not told anyone else about this, but I suspect he is working with the leader of the Evolution, so I will leave the werewolves to Diana.

"All we have to do now is work on the alliance, secure as many territories as we can, and wait for word from Diana."

Robin sighed. "Then for all our sakes, I hope she doesn't take long."

Diana SHARING A GLANCE with Sia, Diana instantly felt worried, even though she did not have any idea what he was talking about. If Gary was this certain, it only meant that whatever this card was, it was something to be worried about. "If you are talking about my sister, then you are gravely mistaken. "Thalia knows how important it is to keep the secrets of the book from the likes of you," Sia snarled. "Thalia was just a reveal card. Her job is done and I already set her free. "However, the last card that I have, will not only bring me a win, but it's sure to cause quite an explosion," Gary announced, spreading his arms wide for more effect. "Whatever your plan is, just know that I will find a way around it, and stop it. I always do," Diana assured him. He whipped out a claw and showed it to her. "Then it's on, little Wolf. Let's see which wolf amongst the both of us ends up at a loss." He then turned to Katherine who was standing in the corner with a stupid grin on he

Rudolph MOST PEOPLE LOOK forward in going back home, because they had a reason to. They had loved ones, family and friends, to look forward in seeing again, and being welcomed back. And most people were not cast away like criminals, and definitely were not at risk of being killed by their own people once sighted. Rudolph and his father left the kingdom with heavy hearts to join his mother who died a few days later due to mysterious circumstances. His father later died of loneliness and a broken heart. Rudolph never returned to the Leprechaun Kingdom ever since and had been on the road. Going back was a risk but for Diana, all risks were worth taking. In two SUVs provided by King Aiden, Rudolph sat with Robin, Janessa, Ryan and the two Fay guards, Sam and Felix. The vampire soldiers sat in the first SUV. Due to a lack of space, Lacey had to sit on Rudolph's thighs. At the moment, his arms were tightly wrapped around her waist, seeking as much comfort as possible. But that did no

Rudolph"HERE'S THE THING, Prince Robin, I can not take you seriously when you have such bizarre requests. I also can not believe that you expect us to listen to this outcast. "And alliance? What is this talk about an alliance? Are you certain you were sent by King Aiden?" Queen Vannie asked, staring at Rudolph with disdain. As the Queen hurled an insult at him, Rudolph still kept what Diana would call a royal blank face. He would not give them the satisfaction of knowing that their words and looks affected him. It was one of the things he learnt from Diana. She would always say that the other party could only win if they knew how affected he was. So, for now, he was going to fake it until he made it. "I dare you to call my brother an outcast again," Robin warned. "My Kingdom and yours have been at peace with each other for centuries, I'm sure you would not wish for that to change, would you?" Queen Vannie raised a perfect brow. "Are you being mind-controlled by him? I understa

Diana WHEN THE LIGHTS came on, Diana and Sia were immediately confronted by three individuals: Gary, Katherine, and a man who looked like Aiden, enough to be called his clone. Stunned into silence, Diana openly gaped at him. If she did not feel the darkness in his aura and perceived his scent which was different from Aiden's, she would have called him Aiden. They had the same grey eyes, the same short black hair, and almost the same build, though Corbin was slightly bigger than Aiden. It was like seeing a more evil version of Aiden. "Uncanny right?" He asked, causing Diana to nod unconsciously. She noted that Aiden's voice was deeper than his. He chuckled. "Well, as I'm sure you already know, my name is Corbin, the more handsome twin. I know what you are thinking. We look so alike, don't we?" She nodded again, still dazed. "Trust me, though we look alike, we are more different than you think. "Because I, for one, would not have let you bear another man's mark on your nec

RudolphREALISING WHAT SHE had done, and looking into the widened eyes of everyone, Lacey gasped."I apologize for lashing out, I am just frustrated," she said with a sigh. "Come here," Rudolph said and pulled her into a side hug. He then sent an apologetic look to Janessa who had a frown on her face. No one spoke another word for the rest of the journey to the Vampire kingdom. (•) When they had all settled in their rooms, Robin called Rudolph into the room they shared with Diana. Rudolph no longer shared a room with Robin since he and Lacey were now together. "You should try to reduce your banter with Janessa, it seems like your girlfriend does not like it," Robin said."But it's just harmless banter, why would she be mad about it?" Rudolph asked as he sat beside Robin on the couch. "You would never truly understand women, Little Brother, it's best to just stay out of things that might make them mad," Robin advised. "But she was the one who told me to get along with Janessa.

Diana BACK IN THE cell, Sia put up the sound-out wards again."What do you think?" Sia asked. "I think we should get the hell out of here right now," Diana whispered in a hushed voice. "Why? I thought you wanted to get more information," Sia reminded her. Diana shook her head. "Trust me, I've gotten all the information I need. It is as I feared, my uncle is working with Gary and Corbin.""There was no werewolf in that room," Sia stated. "True, there wasn't, but there had been. I smelled his scent and I am a hundred per cent certain that my uncle had been there a few times," Diana responded with a sigh. "How big of a threat is he?" Sia asked. "Not much, but his son, however, is a different case. If Asher is indeed working with Gary and Corbin, then I am in much bigger trouble than I thought. "If Asher finds me here, I will be chained to his bed faster than I can think." Diana wiped the sweat beads gathering on her face. The stress was probably getting to her. "Asher? Isn't th

Unknown "ARE YOU SURE this is going to work?" Alpha King Lennon asked. "When am I never sure?" Gary asked back. "What if we never get them back?" King Lennon asked again. "We just need them to put the missing pages of the book together and we can use the final card to make them do what we want," Corbin said, adjusting the female on his thighs. "Why couldn't we just kill them and take the relics?" Katherine asked, causing everyone in the room to stare at her like she was stupid. "Are you stupid or just brainless?" The nameless female on Corbin's thighs asked Katherine. "It was hard enough, finding the locations of both relics. "What do you think would happen if they died and the relics chose other people. We would spend another few years looking for them again." "I was just making a suggestion," Katherine defended with a frown. "Then I suggest you keep your suggestions to yourself. Where did you find this woman, Doctor Young?" King Lennon asked, eying the female vampi

Diana DIANA RAN PAST the opened entrance, and continued to run till she was in blending with the forest. She only slowed down when her adrenaline began to wear off, and the heat returned. "We did it!" Sia cheered in delight as she looked back, seeing no one. Diana lowered herself to the ground and Sia climbed down, and she quickly shifted to her skin and stood up on wobbly legs. "Oh my, that was- Woah!" Sia began to say but cut herself off at the sight of a very naked Diana. "Gosh, Diana, put some clothes on!" "Sorry, I..." Diana could not finish her sentence when she began to fall. The heat was beginning to consume her insides. Sia was quick to catch her, but the moment her hands touched Diana's skin, she pulled away and gasped. "You are burning up, Diana." "I know. We have to get to a river now," Diana muttered, struggling to find her footing. "Alright, but where can we find one now? I do not think there is any river in this area." Diana shook her head. Diana DEEP IN HER thoughts, Diana did not realise that Sia had finished, and was now standing in front of her. "By the gods!" Diana exclaimed in astonishment as she took in the sight of her now imprinted friend. Unrecognisable words were tattooed all over the visible parts of her body except her face. "Does it look that bad?" Sia asked shyly. Diana quickly shook her head. "Of course, not! You look fierce, powerful and just as beautiful as you have always been." Sia looked at Diana with a timid smile on her face. "Thank you, Diana." "Do you feel any different? Does it hurt?" Diana asked. "It only tingled for some time and then nothing," Sia responded with a shrug. "And the book? The spells?" Diana asked again. "The book is gone now, and the spells…" Sia pointed to her head. "It's all in here." "That's perfect. Now, let us go back to the field and wait for Gary and Corbin. Gary expects that I have the Crown and you have the book. "But things have changed and those l

Diana "FOR THOSE OF you who have not met her, let me introduce you to Princess Diana Moonshine, daughter of the late King Dillon Moonshine. "She used to be the leader of the strategic team before she left. Now that she is back, she will continue to be the leader. "Stephan here will assist you, Diana," Aiden said, pointing to a man standing near Richard. Stephan stretched out his hand for a handshake, to which Diana took, immediately feeling his cold hands, and shook it. He held her hand for much longer than she would have liked. But she did not have to do anything because Aiden cleared his throat while glaring at Stephan. Diana pulled her hand back and turned to face Aiden. "What is going on, Your Highness?" "Less than an hour ago, I got a call from King Marse. His kingdom was hit by the Evolution. "He did not get enough time to call other kingdoms for backup before they were defeated. The same thing happened with King Fredrick. "We have lost the support of two kingdoms

Diana "I KNOW YOU may not believe me, so I want to show you something," Aiden said, then began taking off his shirt. "What are you doing?!" Diana asked in a high pitched voice. When she caught sight of his torso, Diana became tongue-tied. On his body was a beautifully drawn image of her Wolf form. Every little detail was perfect. The colour on her, and the golden markings, it was all there. She blurted out the first thing on her mind. "Wow, you actually did it. You got a tattoo." "Yes, and you are the only picture I want to see inked to my skin. The only one I want to see whenever I look in the mirror," Aiden responded. "It's beautiful," Diana complimented in awe, not taking her eyes off the tattoo for a moment. It felt unreal and impossible. Diana half expected to wake up at any moment and realised that all of this was a dream. Diana pulled her hands away from Aiden's view, closed her eyes, and discretely pinched herself. Diana LATER THAT DAY, Diana was left alone with her friends. Sia had gone to meet Janessa and Ryan, while Aiden went to sort out matters concerning his kingdom. Rudolph filled Diana in about his situation with Lacey. Diana tried to understand what could be wrong with Lacey but came up with nothing after each thought. "Do you recall anything you did wrong before she became distant?" Diana asked. "No. I know for sure that I did not do anything wrong," Rudolph responded. "Then what could be the issue?" Diana mused. "Trust me, I have been wondering about that since we returned from the Fay kingdom. "Since she saw me hugging Janessa, she totally cut me out. She does not even want to see me," Rudolph said with a frustrated sigh. "Okay, calm down, let me talk to her. Maybe I can get through to her," Diana suggested. Rudolph instantly perked up with a smile. "That would be a lot of help. Thank you, Ana." "But first I have to talk to Aiden. I will go to Lacey afterwards," Diana

Without saying a word to Sia, Robin took Diana from the guards and began walking to a room. Not wanting to be apart from Diana in that state, Sia followed Robin and Rudolph. After Diana had been placed on a bed, Sia and Diana's friends sat around her, staring down at her in concern. Soon, a tall man strode into the room. He moved straight to Diana's side and her friends scooted over for him to sit beside her. Sia instantly recognised the King of vampires. "Your Highness," she greeted with a bow. "Explain," he said bluntly, as he grabbed Diana's small hand in his large ones. His eyes were cold and stormy but they held warmness for the female laying on the bed Sia watched the scene in confusion, wondering what the hell was going on. Diana IT WAS NOT certain to Diana how she found herself standing face to face with Selene. She felt the glass in front of her and indeed, she was now inside the glass which was a lot bigger than she thought. She turned to Selene. "Things get weirder and weirder at each step, but it is no longer surprising." As expected, Selene smiled. "Only you would be relaxed about standing inside a mirror." Diana shrugged. "Try having two other different personalities inside you, fighting zombies for four years, and being tortured by a crazy lunatic. "I guess strange things is my new normal. It no longer seems foreign to me anymore." "About Luna, it is actually my fault. You were right, wolves are not supposed to have a separate consciousness. "I tried to keep my sickness from you but I could not stop my mind from creating another consciousness in your head. "I wanted to take her out, but it would not work. So, when I saw how harmless she was, I decided to let her stay. "This just a

Diana ONCE AGAIN, DIANA was confused about what to do. Taking Selene's essence seemed wrong in many ways. Most of all, it would be an added responsibility that she was not sure if she could bear. If she thought keeping a relic was hard, how would keeping a god-like power feel? "No. I-I-I can not do it, Selene. Keeping the Crown is enough work as it is. "For crying out loud, I spent almost four years hiding from other creatures who wanted the Crown. I can not add this one, too, please try to understand," Diana said. "If that is your major concern, then you have nothing to worry about. No one would be able to sense the god-like powers in you unless you decide to let them. "The Crown is just an added benefit, you can choose to give it to someone else but you have to return it to its original form since I will no longer be in it. "Then you can live in peace as everyone will know you do not have it anymore," Selene told her but Diana was not convinced. "What about immortalit

Diana SHE FELT HERSELF falling in space, free-living and weightless. She kept on floating with her eyes closed in the dark, letting the breeze take her to wherever. Suddenly, her body stopped moving and it was no longer dark, as light beams tried to get past her closed eyes. Diana opened her eyes and then her feet finally touched the ground. After her eyes had adjusted to the light, Diana took in her surroundings. "What the heck?!" Diana blurted out. She was surprised to see that she was now standing in the middle of mirrors. The room had mirrors on the walls, the roof and the floor. Diana was a bit creeped out by numerous reflections of her, all staring at her. "I had imagined the afterlife to be less creepy," Diana muttered to herself, trying to look away from her reflections, only to stare at another each time she turned her face. "That is because you are not in the afterlife, Diana," she heard a voice say. "Who said that?!" Diana asked, looking around but finding no

Taking one glance at the wound, Diana looked back up to Sia with a blank yet incredulous look on her face. "It's just a little scratch," Diana deadpanned. Sia pouted while looking up at Diana. "But it hurts!" Diana raised both her eyebrows. "Really? You have got to be joking." "Small wounds hurt more," Sia defended. Sighing, Diana rubbed her forehead in frustration. "You know what, I'll just grab the book so we can get this Crown activated." Diana got the book and climbed down to the centre of the square where Sia now stood, thankfully over her tiny cut. "Are you sure you are ready for this?" Sia asked as Diana handed the book over to her. "No, I am not," Diana instantly replied. Sia threw her ha
