The Stubborn captive

The dungeon was silent as it was quite early. Walking down , I see the guards getting up alert and bowing, surprised to see me visit at this hour .

It was not in my routine, I am usually out for a jog at this hour.

Replying to their bow by a nod, I walk down confidently towards my destination. The guards stationed outside her door, nudge each other. To only look up at me in shock.

"Alpha King....we..are sorry.....we weren't informed of your visit"

I open my palms, making one of them to hand me over the keys with trembling fingers.

"Get me a plate of food"

One of them nods, going down the hallway to come back with food. Bowing and offering me the food.

"You may leave."

I say , taking it.
