Our zoo adventure ended in the gift shop. Rai bought matching friendship bracelets with an abalone shell weaved into them. I smiled at him as he tightened it on my left wrist. I put his bracelet on his left wrist too and his smile lit up around us. He put our wrists together and looked up at me.
