"How long have you been standing here?” I asked her because I needed to be sure she heard nothing at all.

"Oh, I just got here and I didn't know you were there, you left me alone for hours since we got back.” She gave me a sad look and I was angry with myself, I allowed myself to get carried away by finding out the truth, forgetting my wife was all alone in the room.

"I am so pissed at you, you should have told me you brought me here to leave me lonely.”

"Baby, come on, why are you overreacting? It hasn't come to that yet.” I said to her thinking she would calm down a bit.
