Damian's POV

The scent of gasoline and salt hung in the air as I stepped out of the black SUV, my boots crunching into the gravel of the empty dock. The waters were still, too quiet, as though the ocean itself was holding its breath in anticipation. A single warehouse stood in the distance, its rusted front blending it into the darkness. This was where Antonio Ricci had chosen to meet me.
