I arrived at the station first. Nikolai was no where to be found but I wasn't surprised by that. I'd only just called him a few minutes ago.

I couldn't wait for him though so I went in on my own.

This station was in a different precinct entirely from the one I was interrogated at but it was still so similar that I had to stop for a second when I walked in.

Officers sat at different desks or bustled around the room, taking down statements, leading people away and so on.
