After Derek left, Gemma found her way into the elevator. Derek had wanted to tag along but this was her fight, not his. she knew she'd be able to pull through on her own. Thus she made him leave but not without promising to reach out to him. If things turned south.

“I can't believe she is challenging her mother, “ she could hear the employees whisper as she passed them. No,it wasn't whispering. They were being pretty loud. As if they want her to hear what they're saying about her.

Ignoring them. She got into the elevator. Looking around, she realized she was the only one that had gotten into the elevator. The employees that were walking right behind her, had all stopped and stood gazing at her as the door closed.

She sensed something was wrong. But didn't really want to seem like she was overreacting. Yes, the employees hated her but it wasn't to the extent of not getting into an elevator with her.

“I should get off. Something doesn't feel right,” she mumbled.
