“Where is your son?”

Jennifer looked at Raymond, who was observing Alpha Mark.

“He went outside in the early morning. Do you have any work with him, my son?” Alpha Mark inquired.

Raymond shook his head as he delicately sliced the steak.

“I believe he is wasting his time without work. Therefore, he must also bear some responsibility.”

Upon hearing this, Sandra smiled widely. “You are right. He must carry a certain level of responsibility. He is your brother. He should look after you.”

Raymond smirked, “We will see who takes care of whom.”

“What do you mean?”

“Nothing.”

Jennifer cast a glance at Beta Justin. ‘Did he mention anything to Raymond? Is Raymond angry about how Masson treated me? Does he care about me?’ She quietly ate while thinking.

She suddenly felt safe because someone genuinely cared about her, even though he proclaimed not to like her.

‘At the end of the day, we are husband and wife,’ she thought.

Her cheeks flushed, catching Sandra’s attention.

“Are you feeling okay?”
