Chapter 203

Raymond felt something piercing his neck once again. He exerted a lot of effort and managed to open his eyes.

Everything was hazy to him as he looked around him. He witnessed the girl making an effort to remove the stake from around his neck. He let out a groan of agony.

She inhaled deeply before taking the stake out with both of her hands. Even though her hands were shaking, she gave it one more attempt at pulling it in.

The moment she removed the stake from his neck, blood began to pour out of his wound.

The sight of his neck caused her to let out a sharp intake of breath. She afterward began to cry. She got to her feet and began looking for something that she might use to wipe the blood off of his neck.
