Chapter 25

By the time I had arrived at Riccardo's the lights were turned off already signaling they were asleep already. I got to my room and quickly went into the bathroom to get calmed by the spluttering pour of cold water. Though it didn't help in washing away the strong emotions I was feeling it did help in giving a clear head for thinking.

I settled in a silk night shorts and a matching shirt. I knotted my hair into a bun and left my room for the kitchen. In no time I located the light switch and flipped it on. I walked towards the fridge and pulled out a can of freezing soda and left the kitchen to the garden

The orange flavored liquid succeeded in burning my thirst and quenching the fire in my insides. I shut my eyes and ran my palm down my face cause this was that point in life where one feels helpless and lost.
