Everything inside the interrogation room shined like it was bought the day before. Metal tables, chairs, even the walls were stainless steel and Carmen sat there in restraints. Her mind whirled around like a tornado hell bent on destruction. She was going to get out of here one way or the other. She would have to use all the skills she acquired during her training. Inside her mouth she felt for the wire that she placed on the side of her gums. Carmen quickly spat it out and it fell in her lap. She strained herself as she tried to grip it with her restrained hands. Her wrists were bound in front of her and she knew that the cameras would probably show what she did. It was a quick motion so she might have a chance if she kept the interrogators attention focused on her face. She had no idea of who would be coming in to question her, she hoped that it was a woman because it would be difficult to overpower a man or several men in such a small space.

Mina sat the controls for the Avenger as she watched the recording of Demonya and Carmen's private conversation. Not many people in the Syndicate knew how to hack a triple firewalled sever and access any camera anywhere on the Oasis. Mina just happened to have years of experience doing it. She knew just how to hack into any sever, computer and security system with ease. She had been looking into a lot of what Carmen had asked of her earlier. As it turned out, Carmen was the wife of a Major in the Federation military. His name wasn't in the files that she had found due to the fact that she couldn't view everything. The files that she had pulled up were encrypted and so far, the decryption process only showed his rank and last name. It proved that Carmen indeed was Alicia Alexander and had currently been married for three years. That meant that Carmen was twenty-one years old, which meant that her daughter was seven years old.The name of her daughter was also unk

And in this case, it was the destruction of the society I was once a part of. In the beginning, I didn't think it would ever get this far. That so many of us would be killed because of one man's vision. A vision of a perfect world that could never be. A world that would be built upon the backs of those who sought to preserve freedom and justice. A world where evil would be the governing force and those who were like me would be nothing but a memory.”“Myself and those who I called my brothers and sisters fought to keep that vision from becoming a reality. One Week Later......Cassandra stood anxiously in the center of Urlecit's private meeting chambers. She had been called here by the God himself for reasons not disclosed to her. In her mind she had been trying to figure out what his reasons for calling her here could've been. Her mother told her that the Gods were very wary of any offspring of the Goddesses, especially if they couldn't be controlled by them in some way.Though she didn't feel like this was a meeting about herself, it was most certainly about Alicia. She knew that her cousin was a sought-after prize that Urlecit wanted. What caused Cassandra a great amount of confusion was why? Why did the Gods fear Alicia so much that they chose to test her prowess and force an ultimatum upon her that was beyond unfair? She herself had abilities like many Celestials within Paradea, yet only Alicia was being tested to prove herself worthy.Cassandra worri

As she walked forward a bright light began to shine through the fog, she decided to go to it. The closer she got to it voices started echoing around her. She looked the same, but this version of her looked somewhat tormented."What are you?" she asked. The projection looked up at her with a look of grief. "You shouldn't be here. Cassandra stood still next to Alicia who had her head bowed and eyes closed. She wasn't sure what had gotten into her cousin, Alicia didn't normally frequent taking journeys into the Third Realm and go to the heart of darkness. Even though Cassandra had been tasked with seeking out this dark presence she had felt before leaving Galaxia, she didn't think that Alicia would be so quick to follow after her. Although her cousin hadn't been the same since she had spoken about the dream or as she called it 'vision'. Cassandra knew her cousin well enough to know that she was afraid. What caused her mind to ache was that she couldn't figure out what Alicia was so shaken and terrified over. She had the powers of a Goddess yet she allowed images within a dream affect her judgement. A secret that could and probably be the catalyst in breaking the civil law between the God's and the Goddesses of Paradea.
