Chapter 68: hot tub together

Addison leaves the bathroom.

When she catches sight of Javan standing over by the glass door, Addison’s eyes go comically round.

She desperately attempts to regain control of her facial expression, plastering on what she hopes is a neutral look before Javan can realize she’s staring at him like some sort of crazed animal.

She tries to swallow, but she can’t—her mouth has suddenly gone dry.

Oh, Addison knew this was going to be bad, but she didn’t know just how bad.

Javan is shirtless, unfortunately, and he’s wearing a pair of navy blue swim trunks.

They’re fitted and they only come down to about mid-thigh. He has both arms raised, pulling the top of his hair into a half-ponytail, his biceps and shoulders flexing.

His entire right arm is covered in tattoos, the artwork dense and dark and swirling all the way up to his shoulder.

His arms and abs and chest are all clearly defined, but he’s not so muscular that he’s
