Parking slot of an old house
Alexandra found she was tied up in a dark room. Her eyes could see only dark, not sure if she was blindfolded or it was really nothing but darkness. Actually she was feeling numb all over her body, almost like an unconscious person. She didn't know what was going on. But one thing she knew for sure, she was drugged.
The moments she could recall before reaching here was at the airport. She came out of the airport, was about to get into her car, some people came from nowhere and the rest happened too soon to notice. Those people must have a powerful backer, maybe she guessed it. Or else never ever they would have dared to kidnap her. Because it could result in something worse than death.
"She has got back her senses, hush!" She heard a faint sound. She knew the drug they used on her was really powerf
Alexandra's POVShot!!Of course this time the bullet came out. But not towards me, towards him.I always kept a dagger with me. I didn't know why but I felt like keeping it all the time. It was my only memory of my childhood. Though I didn't remember that much, only I remembered this dagger was of my father. I took the dagger and my brother took the cover. Now I made a new cover for it, still I'm in search of the old one, in search of my brother.I already cut my ropes with that dagger and the moment he was about to shoot, I kicked the revolver in such a way that ended up pointing towards his right hand. I somehow freed myself from the ropes fully. They were coming towards me to attack buy poor them! They didn't know I was too good in using daggers.Did he think it's too easy to
Adele's POVI went to meet Sil in the hospital. Though she was alright now, she was really weak, especially because she was not allowed to eat for the time being. The moment I reached the room, I found a man in his early 50's sitting beside Lucas. I didn't know why he felt so familiar. Maybe I've seen him before but couldn't get where."Amber, here you came. Your Sil woke up a little ago." Lucas suddenly said to me that dragged me out of those thoughts. I flinched a little as I got caught into overhearing them from outside. With an awkward smile, I entered. That man was looking at me so carefully, like observing from top to bottom. His curious but calm gaze made me frown. I turned towards Sil to ask what actually happened in which she only shrugged.Lucas pinched on my arm and almost dragged me towards that old man.&nbs
Adele was looking at Adam for a long time. She was so mad that didn't want to talk to him. Adam knew she had understood everything, still wanted to hear it from his mouth. "Adele!! Say something. You're scaring me." He smiled awkwardly when received a death glare from her. "Since when do you know?" That was the first question she asked. "Well, that's complicated. Maybe I knew it long ago. When I was a child, I heard from dad that Jacob's wife was dead because of some mafia war. He was a mafia king of California. He kept his two children away from him to get rid of their life risks. He didn't even keep them together to avoid any suspicion, still he always watched over them. My dad was his old friend who helped him to hide himself when the FBI was after him. And af
Adele was leaning against the sofa lazily. Tiredness and confusion was flashing from her eyes. She looked distressed and depressed, lost somewhere in her dream world, and didn't even notice Albert was standing there for a long time. He was trying to find out what she was thinking about. Actually she had a lot to think about, about her family, about David, about Alexandra, her own business and so on. But what Albert didn't assume, she was thinking about his identities. "Ade! Are you okay?" He sat beside her and softly rubbed her hair. In response, she only nuzzled towards him more and breathed calmly. "I'm okay. Just thinking about a lot of things." She was afraid what would happen when Albert would know Elijah Wilson knew about his identity. His own family was not his own but he was the son of Jacob Smith, the real boss of his current mafia gang. "Like….?" Albert asked c
"Brother Rob, what do you think you are going to do? I mean we need to tell him about it. We can't just let him find it first. That will not end well then." Adele was thinking about a way out. The thing she was waiting for was to know about the connection of her dad. But she understood only the revelation could give her answers. Maybe Lucas also didn't know the connection himself. "I don't even know who his real parents are. Without that I don't think we can make sure of his safety. My mind is not approving." Robert was always a sophisticated person. He liked to think logically. But some things were never about logic. They worked according to emotions. And Albert was another name of his emotions. He loved him no matter whether they were biological siblings or not. At least, their relationship was beyond any boundaries. Maybe all of their feelings are unspoken, because they didn't need to open up in front of themselves. They were transparen
Adele's POV"Nathan Lan!!!" I was feeling like killing him. He gave me more than two hundred files to sign in just one hour. Did he think my hand was a machine to sign without any hesitation? And here he goes, smoking cigarettes in the smoking zone leaving me all behind. But shouting at him would never make my job easy. So I again gave attention to the files. I could sign those without any problem as I was sure he managed everything with efficiency. But it was my responsibility to recheck. In case of any problem. When I was busy checking those files, I noticed the phone he left on the table suddenly rang. I was sure the number was in this country. But I never had any interest in meddling in anyone's privacy. Though I didn't want to peek, my eyes went to that again and again. Not my fault!"Nathan, y
Ryan was fit in his tailored shirt and trousers. Though they were casuals, he looked deadly hot in them. Hairs brushed at a side, spiked, hands kept in the pocket he walked all the way with confidence. After walking for more than ten minutes, he found Eva was waiting for him on the bridge. She was always punctual and that's what Ryan loved about her. "You flied all the way to meet me?" He was really happy about that yet he didn't want her to stay here, at least not at the moment. The city was now having a calm. But the storm was in the way, it would destroy so much. Powers would clash and death would be the reward. "Why do you look so gloomy? Aren't you happy to meet me?" Eva pouted, "You are still a little rabbit." He wanted to slap her forehead with her palm. "I'm not a rabbit. Abd whatever, just leave this city. It's not so good to stay here. And you don't
Fuck! Ryan cursed loudly. He was exactly afraid of this and that happened. He turned his head towards Elora and both of them nodded in understanding. In a blink of eyes, Elora took out a revolver from the back of the sofa and Ryan found it at the telephone stand. As he was a regular visitor to Adam's House, he had the idea where things could be. Since they were cops, they needed to show the estimate of their bullets. So it was good to use unlisted ones, they were safe. Eva was looking at them with confusion. Maybe she didn't expect to see anything like this. It was beyond her expectations. She looked at Ryan with wonder. She knew he was a cop and he needed to fight against bad people but never assumed things were so hard. Now she understood why he was pestering her to return. Before Eva could even react, she was pulled behind the couch and the firing session started. Bot
