C H A P T E R - 6

''Well evening crept in...though I was tired of being

roaming in the Churchyard but I was very excited to

see the night glory of beach..I am hell excited and waiting for Tani.The Queen herself doesn't take too much time like my best friend do''

                                                 

  --  Second day in Venice

I closed my diary after penning my experience but..where is Tani.urghhh this girl.

"Tani..Tani.. we are getting late..plz keep your business aside for sometime,''I shouted as I heard her talking over the phone for last thirty minutes.

''Ya..Ya baby..but we'll come  back soon coz today is a stormy weather  and high tide..so staying their for long time is quite dangerous,''she warned me but I gave her a deaf ear nothing could stop me enjoying the once in a lifetime experience.



We reached at the beach around 7 in the evening,the sky was dark grey with purple linings over the horizon.I sat on the sand.It was still warm .

the waves were touching my feet..the water was chill..prickling my skin but I sat like it for long time..while Tani was busy taking my pics but I was too lost to feeling anything except the vast stretching sea and the dark sky over my head.

''San lets go its enough dark now..,''she nudged me but I looked up at her,''Tani plz for some more time may be whether I will get a chance again or not,''

''Or may be you'll find your Prince charming here in Venice and next time you come here soon with him,''she teased me but for my surprise I returned a smile instead of giving her some curses or chasing her like hungry leopard.

After spending almost two hours there we came back to hotel and had a delicious Italian meal and then jumped on bed like sleepy dogs.  

Morning crept in...may be a new morning which will bring new hopes and new luck in two lover's life..who didn't meet each other yet...The morning marks a new beginning.

''San..San..ohh my sleeping beauty I told you na..we are going at my house..bhai called me and invited you too..nd..lemme tell you he is very punctual and hate late comers,''Tani was jerking me continuously.

''Ummm..Tani..its 6:15 AM..who wake up this early...let me sleep and you sleep too,''I mumbled pulling the quilt over my head again.

''Ohh hello...we have to be there before nine..and you...you take very less time to get ready."she mocked me and pulled away the quilt leaving me almost naked .

The sudden hit of cold air made me open my heavy eyes.

I had no other choice except to wake up coz I knew this wicked woman would not let me romance with my pillow and quilt.I yawned like a kitten and dashed into loo.



I wore a white knee length dress and neatly tied my hairs into high bun.''Perfect''I complemented myself.

''As always,''came Tani's voice.

I put light make up .I thought it was unnecessary to load myself in fansy dresses and party make up.

'Shall we leave now..Nicola is waiting for us in parking area.''she told me.

''What that weird man..Goshh...how I will complete my journey with that man..,''I sighed in irritation.

''He is not that bad.you will come to know it soon baby,''Tani defended that gazing machine.

But much to my my shock he greeted me showing his 32 teeths and gave me a warming smile.

The car drove to the outskirts of the city.I saw magnificent bungalows in a good distance .I assumed rich and influential people lived there.

Soon we reached on a typical Italian style bungalow...it was huge and mesmerizing.The stone walls surrounded the house from all sides.

it reminds me of our ancestor's old house in India..where the golden days of my childhood was spent.



  ''I must say Tani..you are not less than a princess..this villa is so beautiful,''I blurted mesmerized by her house.

''Even you are not less than a princess,this villa is nothing in front of your haveli.''she replied thus my face colour changed..''no its a cursed past Tani..lets go inside,''I ended the topic.My past haunted me like a nightmare now.

Ohh God a man like Olympus was standing there.He was smiling at Tani.A man probably in his twenties and six feet tall with broad chest .His thick black hairs combed back giving him a supermodel look.

I saw him in the  view mirror of car.My breath hitched in my throat for a second.

The driver stopped the car .Tani was first to climb out .

''Bhai..good morning'',Tani hugged her brother like a baby monkey hugged his mumma.

He is Tani's brother.They do not share same features.

''ohh my baby how are u,''he replied with a bright smile.I noticed dimples on his cheeks when he smile.Tani too have dimples.

I was listening to brother-sister convo with a smile.I wish I could enjoy this family attention.

Meanwhile my phone buzzed my phone .It was Carmel so I went to a corner to talk to her.

Randhir...

''Where is your friend?''I asked impatiently finding Tanya alone.

''No bhai she is here..actually she is on call so she went aside,''Tanya said pointing on a girl who was talking over the phone.Her back faced us.

Tani called my Cindrella.

Sanyukta...

''San..San..come baby,''Tanya called me and I turned to them.

The moment froze there when we saw each other.

''Same eyes...which I saw in party..dark,deepened,black..is he the same person behind the mask?''my heart questioned to me.

My legs were numb to move.I was midst of my inner storm.What was all that a beautiful miraculous reality or just another dream.

"Hey San..are you again in your dream world?"Tani's continuous yellings brought me back on the earth.With shaking steps I started walking up to them.

Randhir...

''Ohh God..is she real..my dream girl...it means God himself give me those signals...she is in real..same face..my Ms. Cindrellla,''my heart fluttered .My eyes were stuck on the shy self conscious woman who was coming near me in baby steps.

The moment she stood in front of us,my heartbeat increased on a dangerous pace.I feared if it would jump out breaking my rib cage.

''Bhai she is my best friend San...I mean Sanyukta  Agrawal...and San he is my brother Randhir Singh Shekhawat...you didn't meet him at party,''Tanya introduced us to each other.

We shared an intense eye lock.Her hazel eyes were as mysterious as an unsolved puzzle.I was the first to break our moment.I didn't want to make her uncomfortable.My mother taught me to respect a woman in every way.

"Hello Ms. Its pleasure to meet you,''he forwarded his hand for a handshake.Only I knew how I resist myself till now to feel his magical touch on my skin.

I forwarded my trembling hand and.....our skin touched...the same spark..same jittery feeling...I am sure he was the same person...and my doubt cleared when he tucked a random strand behind my ear.

"It is disturbing you I thought.."he said in his husky voice.God he is my death.

''Bhai...San...are u okay guys..you both are holding each  other's hand since last five minutes.I immediately broke the handshake and looked here and there to avoid the teasing queen.

''Lets go inside...Nicola..plz check on the breakfast."he commanded Nicola.Then I realized why Nicola present everywhere.

He took us inside the house.The interior was more attractive...pure white walls..and antique decorating items on them...a huge picture of a couple most probably their parent's and other one of Shekahwat siblings.

We started chit chat on random topics but two eyes were stealing my glance time to time...I knew it.All the while I tried my best not to look at him.

''So Ms. Agrawal..what you do..I mean your profession other than modelling for your bestie. Tanya told me you do modelling for her.'',he broke the ice between us.

He was talking to me all normal but I had a difficult time to deal with his intense personality.

''Ummm..I am a mechanical engineer by profession..I did my graduation in London..and started working in Paris..where I met Tani for the first time...modelling was my passion so she gave me a chance to enhance my hobby,''I replied honestly.

''Ohh so you r an M.E..I must say you would be a excellent engineer too.''he said in his sexy tone...My God he'll kill me with his  talks only.

''Yaa bhai.,but her..a*s h**e boss..never worth her talent,''Tani cursed my boss but I am agree with her on this point coz he is a pervert.

''In which company do you work,''he asked curiously.

I told him my company's name...and other few detail but the next he said make me numb.

"Miss Sanyukta Agrawal would you like to join Shekhawat Group of Company.We hire the best of talent and I can see one in you''
