Michael’s POV

I hated that Fernando was here.

I sighed, gripping the torn half of my shopping list as I walked further into the aisles, away from him.

I needed space. Distance. Anything to remind myself that, for at least a little while, I wasn’t under his suffocating gaze.

Because right now, I was doing something ridiculous.

I was making a ruthless mafia boss—someone whose favorite time involved killing people who annoyed him—go grocery shopping.

I bit the inside of my cheek to keep from laughing.

If his men found out, they’d probably never let him live this down.

I imagined it now: Fernando, dressed in his perfectly tailored suit, standing in an aisle filled with cereal boxes and snack foods, looking like he belonged in a luxury penthouse instead of a grocery store.

If he really stopped to think about what he was doing, would he get offended? Would he be angry enough to kill me for this?

Wouldn’t be the first time he got murderous over something stupid.

I shook my head. I don’t car

I just moved. One second, I was watching. The next, my hand wrapped around his wrist, and I squeezed. His entire body jerked. His fingers twitched where they were gripping Michael’s shirt, and I tightened my hold, feeling his bones shift under my grasp.I could break them.Right now.Easily.I leaned in, my voice cold and controlled.“Let. Michael’s POVFernando stood a few feet ahead of me, rolling his sleeves up with calculated ease. His expression was unreadable, but I knew him well enough to recognize the spark of excitement in his eyes. He wasn’t just angry—he was looking forward to this. The man who had pinned me against the shelf earlier now stood opposite him, cracking his knuckles with a cocky grin. He had broad shoulders, thick arms, and a chest that was visible against his tight black T-shirt. He looked every bit the professional wrestler he claimed to be. His confidence was that of arrogance, and he was eager to put Fernando in his place.I didn’t want to be here.I shouldn’t be here. This whole situation was ridiculous, and yet, somehow, I was trapped in it.Fernando’s bodyguard stood beside me, his arms crossed. He looked ready to step in, but before he could say a word, Fernando turned to him and spoke with absolute authority.“Do not interfere.” His voice was calm but stern. The bodyguard frowned.

Fernando’s POVMy body still burned with rage, my knuckles aching from the impact of my fists against that bastard’s face. But it wasn’t enough. The man had landed a punch on me and humiliated me. No one had dared to do that in years, and now, here I was, sitting in the back of my car, with Michael beside me and my bodyguard behind the wheel, burning in my own fury.I stared at the side mirror, catching a glimpse of my face in the reflection. My jaw was sore, and I could already feel the swelling beginning. My fingers twitched as I clenched my fists. That man had made a fool out of me. And worse, he had done it in front of Michael.I wanted to punch something—anything. But then I turned slightly, my gaze landing on Michael. He was staring out the window, his face unreadable. His silence was unsettling. He had barely looked at me since we left the supermarket compound, and it was starting to eat at my nerves.“Michael,” I said, trying to keep my voice calm. “Are you—”“I don’t wan

Fernando’s POVMichael’s body was still pinned beneath mine, his breath uneven, his chest rising and falling repeatedly mostly because of the absenceof space between us. My hands pressed against the wall on either side of him, caging him in and not giving him a chance to escape. His words repeated constantly in my head, making it impossible for me to do any other thing than to just stare into his eyes.Normally, I would ne very happy knowing I was bringing fear to people around me but there was something almost painful hearing it from Micheal. The scent of his sweat still lingered on his skin from when i had pushed him during my fight, but beneath that, I could smell something more intoxicating. It made me want to hold him in my arms and take in his smell into mine until they became one.He was trembling, though whether it was only from fear or something else, I wasn’t entirely sure. But I intended to find out.I smirked, leaning in until my lips nearly brushed against his ear. “I

Michael’s POVThe kitchen felt colder than usual, or maybe it was just me.I gritted my teeth as I opened the fridge door with more force than i was supposed to, grabbing a handful of ice cubes and tossing them into a cloth. My fingers curled tightly around the fabric, my knuckles turning white as I forced myself to breathe. My heart was still pounding, and I hated it.I hated how my body had reacted.I pressed my forehead against the fridge for a second, closing my eyes. My jaw clenched in frustration. What the hell is wrong with me?I could still feel Fernando’s touch on my skin, the way his lips had moved over my neck, the way my traitorous body had betrayed me in that moment. My reaction had been instinctual, but that didn’t excuse it.It made me sick.He killed her.He killed my sister. The thought hit me like a hammer, forcing air from my lungs. I gripped the ice pack harder, my nails digging into the cloth.Fernando Ramirez—the man who had destroyed my world, the man I was

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   Fernando’s Plaything

Fernando’s POVI watched as Michael stepped back inside, shutting the door behind him. His expression was unreadable, as it often was, but I could tell something lingered beneath his carefully composed attitude. I was still seated on the couch, the ice pack resting against my bruised cheek. The cool sensation did little to soothe my irritation. The whole encounter with Ashley ate at the back of my mind. There had been something off about the way she looked at me, something unnatural in the way her eyes had widened, her body tensing as if she had seen a ghost.Michael walked past me, heading toward the small table where he had left his jacket. His shoulders were stiff, and I didn’t miss the way his fingers briefly clenched at his sides before he forced himself to relax.I tilted my head, watching him closely.“She didn’t come in,” I said, my voice obvious with casual curiosity. “Why?”Michael barely glanced at me as he pulled his phone from his jacket pocket. “She had somewhere e

Michael’s POVI stood in the kitchen, rolling my shoulders in exhaustion as I stirred the pot of sauce which was almost ready. The rich scent of garlic, tomatoes, and herbs filled my small kitchen, but it did little to soothe my frustration.I sighed, rubbing my temples as I leaned against the counter for a moment. Today was supposed to be my day to rest, a rare evening where I could unwind without dealing with anyone’s drama—especially Fernando’s.Yet, here I was, cooking dinner while he made himself comfortable in my home, completely ignoring the fact that I never invited him to stay.I shot a glare toward the living room, where I could hear him shifting around on my couch. His damn bodyguard was still here too, lurking silently like a shadow, as if they had officially moved in.I exhaled sharply and turned my focus back to the food. Fernando’s POVThe air inside the car was thick with tension, my fingers twitching against my thigh as I stared out the window. The city lights blurred past us, but my mind was stuck on one thing—Rodger’s voice over the phone. He had never sounded that agitated before.Rodger was a lot of things—reckless, ruthless, impatient—but he was never panicked. For him to sound that shaken, something had gone very, very wrong.I clenched my fists, jaw tightening as I replayed his words in my head."We were attacked. You need to get here now."I exhaled sharply through my nose, my patience wearing thin.I wanted answers. Now.I turned my head toward my driver, my bodyguard sitting stiffly in the front seat. “Faster,” I snapped, the irritation in my voice sharp as a blade. The driver hesitated, barely pressing down harder on the gas.Not enough.“I said—FASTER.”The car sped up as the driver obeyed, and I barely noticed Michael shifting beside me. Ashley’s POV The steady hum of the ceiling fan above me did little to drown out the gnawing ache in my chest. Another day gone, another restless night ahead. I sat on the edge of my couch, my phone resting on my lap, its screen black but heavy with unsent messages. Messages I had drafted a hundred times but could never bring myself to send.To him.To Michael. The world outside my apartment window was in dull shades of twilight, streetlights flickering to life one by one, their glow spilling onto the wet pavement. The city never slept, but I barely lived in it anymore.I missed him.God, I missed him more than I should. The sound of my ringtone brought me out of my thoughts. I sighed, grabbing the phone and seeing “Mom” flash on the screen. I forced a breath through my teeth and picked up.“Hey, Mom,” I answered, trying for casual but probably landing somewhere near exhausted.“Ashley, honey! I was just thinking about you,” her warm voice came through the line like a soft blank

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   The Weight of Secrets

Michael’s POV I didn’t want to leave the mansion. Not tonight. Not with everything happening. Not with Fernando lying unconscious in the safe room and Marlo looking like he was one bad mood away from snapping someone's neck. But Damian had shown up, unannounced, loud as hell, and desperate for my attention like a neglected lover, and somehow — after a tense stare from Marlo — I had gotten permission to leave with him.I still didn’t understand that look Marlo gave Damian before we left.Sharp, calculating, and most definitely sour. But then again, Marlo always looked like he wanted to kill someone. I figured it was just his natural face. Now here I was, standing in Damian’s expensive condo in the middle of the city, a glass of wine in my hand, and his eyes locked on me like I was the only thing worth existing for.I drank half the glass.Damian smiled, leaning against the wall like he hadn’t been a complete maniac earlier. “You okay?” he asked, his voice soft.“I’m fine,” I replie

Ashley’s POVI wasn’t just angry — I was livid. My eyes were locked on Andrew, and every word he said just seemed to make me angrier."You have no idea what the hell you're talking about!" I snapped, my voice slicing through the thick silence that had descended in the room.“Ashley—” The Chief began, his voice firm but controlled, trying to get me to calm down. But I wasn’t about to back down. Not this time.“No, Chief,” I interrupted, standing abruptly, the chair scraping loudly against the floor.“She’s too close to the target,” Andrew said, speaking as though I wasn’t even in the room. His voice was annoyingly calm, like he was stating facts that everyone should just accept. “And it’s affecting her performance. We’ve all seen the signs, Chief. Mood swings, irrational decisions, an inability to separate personal feelings from professional duties. It’s compromising the mission. And it’s been going on for too long.”“You’re out of your damn mind,” I spat, barely able to contain the r

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   Ashes of Loyalty

Ashley’s POVIt was another cold morning. The sun had not even properly broken through the clouds, and yet the city was already buzzing. I could hear the distant sounds of sirens mixing into the horns of impatient drivers as I stepped out of my apartment. The world moved on. People went to work. Coffee shops opened their doors. Life moved forward, except mine — mine was stuck, still in a past I couldn’t let go of.Michael.His name was a constant echo in my head. No matter how hard I tried, no matter how many times I told myself to move on, I couldn’t. He was constantly in every corner of my mind, and with every sunrise, I missed him more. The FBI headquarters loomed ahead, a building of glass and steel that once felt like home. Now, it felt cold and lifeless. Like every pair of eyes that turned in my direction carried judgment. I could see it in the way they spoke in hushed whispers, the way conversations stopped when I passed by. I was the girl still hung up on the traitor.M

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   Damian’s Sudden Arrival

Michael’s POVThe soft hum of the microwave was oddly comforting in the otherwise tense silence of the kitchen. The scent of warmed-up soup filled the air, and for a fleeting moment, it smelled almost like home. Or what home might have been, in some better, less screwed-up lifetime.I ran a hand through my hair, leaning against the counter as I watched the seconds tick down on the digital display. In no time, Fernando’s food would be ready soon, and for once and I wasn’t just doing it to keep up appearances. I wanted him to wake up. I needed him to. Everything was starting to fall apart around me — and the one person who could have untangled this mess was lying unconscious in a bedroom upstairs.Across the room, Mortis and Emilio were hunched over their plates, their laughter quiet but strained, as though neither of them truly wanted to laugh. Anabelle was standing at the sink, scrubbing a plate so hard I was half-convinced she was imagining it was my face.I wouldn't be surprise

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   A Shift in the Air

Marlo’s POVThe kitchen had always been my favorite room in the house — not because I enjoyed cooking, far from it — but because it was the one place I could find temporary peace from the exhausting madness swirling around this godforsaken mansion. And also was surprisingly a great place for spontaneous sex, if you know what I mean. The dim lighting, the sharp scent of freshly brewed coffee lingering in the air, and the low hum of the refrigerator was about the closest thing to calm I could get nowadays.Anabelle sat by the counter, twirling a strand of her hair around her finger, her expression distant as if her thoughts were elsewhere. Mortis stood by the window, his massive frame leaning against the sill, silently watching the mansion grounds beyond the glass. None of us spoke, each lost in our own worlds, the silence stopped only by the occasional clink of Anabelle’s spoon against her mug.It wasn’t peace exactly. It was an uneasy truce, and I knew it wouldn’t last long. Then

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   Restless Heart

Michael’s POVI don’t know what it was about today, but everything around me felt heavier, like the walls of this damned house had grown teeth and eyes, watching my every move, ready to swallow me whole. I had taken refuge in my room — the only space in this godforsaken mansion that still felt like mine. The sheets were freshly laid; the scent of lavender clung stubbornly to the fabric like a memory I couldn’t place. I threw another magazine into the growing pile of papers by the window and began straightening out the books on my desk. Cleaning was never something I bothered with before, but lately… it was the one thing that gave me a sense of control.I folded a shirt, placed it in the wardrobe, smoothed out a wrinkle on the duvet, and sat on the bed, admiring the small victory. My space was finally in order. Maybe if the outside world was falling apart, at least in here I could pretend things were normal.Just then, my phone buzzed on the nightstand.Damian.I hesitated for a m

Marlo’s POVThe cold press of the gun’s muzzle against the back of my head was sharp, a chilling sensation that spread like ice down my spine. Every instinct I had screamed at me to turn around, to fight, but I knew better. I had been in this game too long not to recognize when a man had the upper hand. And right now, that man was Damian.“Easy there,” I muttered, my voice low and steady, hiding the boiling fury inside me. “No need for this kind of dramatics, Damian.”“Thought you were slick, huh?” he murmured from behind me, his voice calm, almost amused.I exhaled through my nose, clenching my jaw. “Listen, I don’t give a damn about whatever con you’re running with Michael. He’s not my concern. But what are you pulling behind our backs?"Damian chuckled softly, the sound sinister in the dead of night. “And what makes you think you’ve earned the right to ask questions, Marlo?”“Maybe the part where you just put a gun to my head on a public street,” I shot back. “That’s usually a

Marlo’s POVThe room was thick with the scent of sex, sweat, and musk. Anabelle lay against me, her skin warm, slick, her hair pulled out on the pillow like a dark halo. I claimed her lips once again as I plunged in deeper into her, listening to the huge gasp that escaped her lips in that moment. She took her fingers down to her vagina and gently began to massage herself, her legs slightly shaking beneath me."I can feel all your dick inside me, and it feels sooo good" she said as the movement of her fingers intensified and I could tell she would soon cum.I dragged her finger out then turned her around, her stomach on the bed, her ass raised to receive every inch of me."Not yet love" I used my dick to gently play with her pink hole, watching as it's wetness slowly dripped down her legs. "Take me Daddy.""As you wish."With a mighty force, I pushed my cock into her then increased the velocity of each strike, not leaving her enough time to gather her breath. After the evening I had
