Lucian's POV

I watched as the smoke dissolved into the air and I could not contain the goosebumps that spread throughout my skin as I beheld what came out of it.

Queen Zelda, sitting on a black horse that seemed to be breathed and created out of pure ash and smoke,with an army of witches that stretched to the outside of my gate, all sitting on the same horse. Queen Zelda had a chain wrapped around her arm and connected to the chain was a large beast that I had never ever seen before.

It had a large snout with rows of teeth arranged in its mouth, curving out of it and displayed on the outside. It roared so loud that I could feel the ground underneath me shake and vibrate. As if his roar was a command, the ground vibrated and I could see a crack beginning to form. It ran from the beast straight between my legs and straight to the infirmary. The ground then began opening up and I had to shift so that I wouldn't fall into the large hole that was beginning to open up.
