Reality Dawning

Daphine POV

Day turn into night and night into day as I walked through the deep forest. I had so many things going through my mind. The look from Alina few days ago had reality dawning on me. I had been naive enough to fall for a simple speech from an old witch.

Reaching the brink of the river, I took a moment to rest and while I laid my head in the ground, staring into the sun which was little less scorching, I wondered whether I would evet see Alina and so many persons in my pack again. It was apparently looking impossible, but it didn't meant a thing.

Closing my eyes and inhaling the fresh air from the trees, a figure suddenly appeared in my vision, blocking the path of the sun and before I could react, I began to feel dizzy and eventually passed out.

Cold water splashed across my face, bringing me back to reality. It was night and the set of people standing before me had the look that depicted they were witches. I couldn't move as I felt my hands tied against a tree.
