Third POVIt was a beautiful morning and the birds were already chirping and singing in melodious tune to the satisfaction of those who heard it. Rex had woken up earlier and had left his mate to sleep. He was sure last night was going to be a night to remember for him till ages and when he saw her marking; he felt a new surge of possessiveness engulf him as his wolf constantly reminded him that the beautiful lady lying peacefully on the cold floor was his and no one else.He left her to go in search of others who apparently, were all awake. “I believe your mate is well, I heard her voice last night and I thought to check on her but remembered you were by her side” Levi said smirking at his friend, for he knew that something had transpired between the two.“She is perfectly fine believe me and in few moment, she would join us but for now, let her have the quality rest that she desires. Levi once again smirked at his friend and nodded while Mason entered the cave having gone out to ru
CHAPTER THIRD POVNordic Wolf had just arrived at the cave where the witches stayed and noticed the once green light which shone across the cave was now purple. She didn’t mind the colors and its meaning, all she wanted was a proper explanation for the demise of her dad.“How dare you all? I told you I opt out of being a witch and you killed my father!” Nordic Wolf said, visibly angry at their actions. The witches on the other hand didn’t seem to be phased by her nags as they waited for her to finish.“I loved my dad, he didn’t deserve to die” Nordic Wolf was sobbing as she continued to nag at the witches. The first witch stood up from the rock where she had sat and approached the sobbing Nordic Wolf and cupped her cheeks up, staring directly at her.“We had to do that to cast your mind from any form of emotional attachment” she said. Nordic Wolf was visibly furious and spit on her face. The witch simply laughed in an irked manner whilst Nordic Wolf wolf came to the surface.“What do
Third POVRex, Ivory and the rogues had been running for days, passing many rivers, jungles and lands and didn’t stop. On the night of the third day of running, they had to stop and rest for the sake of the females who had been whining they were tired. Ivory was surprisingly engulfed with load of strength and so wasn’t bothered about resting. While they were all chatting, they heard growls coming from the right side and once again they all stood up alert at the imminent danger. Rex didn’t know whether to hide his mate as it seems she too was ready to fight any danger and this would be the first time Rex was seeing this courageous side of his mate.A group of wolves estimated at thirty circled the crew as they tried to stay together defensively. The wolves didn’t attack; neither did Rex, Ivory and the rogues. From the left side, one of the wolf walked up to them, he was huge and he had thick black furs sniffing all of them one by one before signaling his fellow wolfs who left the scen
THIRD POVEvery one in Pack had gathered around as instructed by the Gamma who had made this call as ordered by the Luna. “As you all know, this pack is in danger, our Beta and Alpha is no more, we need to re install a new Alpha and a new Beta” the Gamma said. There were murmurs every where as the Gamma continued.“Generally, how this is usually done, the Luna will be the supreme head of the pack while the Alpha’s son takes over. Unfortunately, our Alpha’s son is no where to be found, and our Luna is still with us and so I think we simply crown her as our leader” the Gamma said and most people supported it while others felt she shouldn’t on the ground that she is a female.“I demand that such suggestion be thrown into the pit and never to be seen again” everyone turned to the direction of the voice. It was Nordic Wolf their Beta’s daughter. “You cannot think of becoming the leader of this pack do you? By the laws of the land, once an alpha and his son does not exist, the Luna is aut
Third POVIt was night at the Pack and all members were all asleep. The witches of the dark on the other hand seemed to be the only being that weren’t sleeping. They were putting plans in place to bring pack members from the pack to the coven and make them witches. The atmosphere of the coven changed and the once purpled environ, was pitch black. Foams began to form right in front of the witches and it would eventually break away, revealing a hooded person. “It is a pain in my neck that we have to give you signs in dreams to meet up with us every night and you eventually decline them” Periah stated, staring at the mystery being.“My apologies, I needed to be sure no one was suspicious of my activities. I may have been with them as friends but one slight iota of doubt, it becomes a problem” the mystery being stated to the witches.“So, what do you have for us” Mariah asked. The mysterious being, approached the witches and knelt before them.“Masters, I am honored to serve this coven r
CHAPTER Third POV Nordic witch thought of whether or not the dark witches could eventually betray her and something struck her mind. The witches’ agenda involved turning people to witches like themselves. She had noticed that for each of the wolves turned, they were all nothing but slaves to them and so, wondered if she wasn’t a slave herself. Nordic witch was sure that even though it may take time, the witches were bound to eventually betray her and so decided that it was better to have a plan against the witches if she would eventually be betrayed. Nordic witch was of the opinion that the greatest mistake the witches could make was entrusting her with so much powers and so, Nordic witch thought to play the fools mate and gather more knowledge before striking at the witches. Rex, Ivory and the rogues were ready to leave the Silver Pack and start with their quest. Alpha Jaden had ordered his pack soldiers to escort his guests having being convinced by his new found mate Lawrence to
Third POVAt nightfall, Rex, Ivory and the rogues decided to camp in a forest which was few meters away from a certain pack that they were yet to know its name. Rex had set up camp fire to keep everyone especially his mate, warm from the incessant cold that continued to plague them this particular night. Once he was done setting up the fire, Rex went to keep his mate warm whilst the rest were chatting excluding Joyce who needed to sleep after the event of today.“You know, I didn’t thought our lives was going to turn out this way, being on an adventure with my dearest mate from pack to pack, warning them all of the eventful occurrence that kept happening to us” Rex stated as he stared at the stars with his hands engulfed around his mate to keep her warm. Ivory on the other hand, just sighed and didn’t seemed to listen to what his mate was saying, with her mind somewhere far away. Rex looked at her and called at her to bring her back to the present state“What were you thinking of dear
Daphne's POV“You don't know that this isn't your journey, right?” Uriel asked, stopping us from moving any further with them, while the men stopped in such a way that made me notice that Uriel must have stopped time to speak to us.“What do you mean?” Rex asked, confused, as though he could read my mind.“It seemed like you both have forgotten where you came from, the past you left behind to a face destiny has been calling”“What about the relics and the battle we are to face? I am needed, and you must know” I interrupted.“Your journey stops here, trust me you need to return to balance things, the battle you'll face soon is dependent on how you handle this”“How long ago did you feel as though they were still calling out to you?” he asked me, ignoring the question I had asked earlier, causing Rex’s attention to shift towards me.I never told anyone or even confessed to myself that I could feel the mate pull me towards where they called out to me, but I then realized that after a whi
