Allison's POV

From the crown of my head to the tips of my feet, I screamed luxury. For a minute, I could barely recognize my reflection in the full-length mirror.

"Do you like it?" Alice spoke.

She was the person assigned by Clyde to get me ready for tonight's party. My hair and makeup were done perfectly to complement the expensive dress I wore.

"Alice, this is magic."

Tears almost pooled in my eyes—I looked extremely beautiful tonight.

"I'm certain the boss's attention will be on you all night."

We giggled together at her words, unaware of his presence.

As our eyes met, for a second, we were lost—or he was lost. His dark eyes swept all over my body. As he walked closer, I noticed he was also dressed in a black tux, his hair styled perfectly to fit his handsome face.

"You are so beautiful, baby."

"Thank you. Your money made me look this way."

He only chuckled before grabbing my waist. The scent of his cologne mingled in the air, intoxicating me.

"I'm grateful to have you spend it."

Clyde's POVThe sole aim of attending this fucked-up party was to prove to my old man that he doesn't scare me. Not anymore.I remember the gift box he received a few days ago—his beloved dog, chopped into pieces. Tonight, I plan to deliver the head myself. My father knows better than to cross my path.He knows how deadly I can be when it comes to what's mine. I'm glad he received a befitting gift for his stupid plan of visiting my lamb. He wanted her family here—well, I've brought them myself, and I'm certain he's stunned by this act.A few minutes after we stepped in, Scar motioned to speak with me. It was urgent, he said."We busted a few of Rence’s locations the other night.""What did you find?""It was gruesome, but we were able to save up to fifty children and twenty young teenagers.""That fucking bastard!"Rence had still not been caught. His ability to slip through every pursuit surprised me. The bastard had a lot to pay for.I have the streets searching for his ass with a b

  • Dangerous Love   Price of desire

By the time we arrived at my cottage, she had fallen asleep. Quickly, I moved her to my room before cleaning her up. By the time I was done, the doctor arranged by Diego had arrived to check on her. We waited patiently until he was done with the check-up, my heart racing the entire time. What if something happened to her because of me? “She’s lucky you arrived in time. Otherwise, the drug would have stopped her heart from beating.” “I fucking know! Just—how is she?” I growled, shocking the middle-aged man. He trembled at my sight. “For now, she’s stable, but…” “But what?” I cut him off, my patience already running low. “The amount of drug in her system is too high. Whoever spiked her drink must have used a lethal dose—enough to kill a human in hours.” Fuck! “So, doctor, is she going to be alright?” Diego asked since I was too furious to speak, my fist clenched in a tight punch. “For now, I’ve sedated her, and the IV drip will help flush out the drug. However, for t

Allison's POVLost in my thoughts, I barely heard my name being called. I veer around to see Willy standing by my chair. His chocolate eyes observe me intently before he drops down next to me. "You don't look well." "I'm fine." Seconds pass before he speaks up again, eyeing me. "Ever since you returned from the party, you've been off. Did something happen?" I understand Will's intentions are pure—he only cares for me—yet it's getting irritating. Whatever happened is something I never want to speak of. The shock of that night is still fresh in my memory. It haunts my sleep. Without saying a word, I turn my gaze to the window. The beautiful scenery of the clouds helps soothe my aching heart. Vacation is over. Right now, we're all seated in Clyde's private plane, heading back home. Yet, a certain ache looms inside me. "Baby, I don't want you to worry, please," his voice echoes in the moving car. Diego had to drop off my family at the house. Of course, Clyde insisted I com

  • Dangerous Love   Boss's Boss

Clyde's POV The glances she shot my way were pure fire, her rage simmering beneath those sharp eyes. She wasn’t hiding it, not even trying. For a second, the voice of the young man speaking at the far end of the room faded into background noise. My attention was elsewhere—on the way her lips twitched, the way her fingers clenched against the table. Allison was beyond pissed. What the fuck did I do now? The meeting wrapped up, and everyone rose from their seats, filing toward the door. "Miss Gray, stay back." My voice boomed through the boardroom, halting her in place. A ripple of tension spread through the room, eyes darting between us before people hurried out, sensing the storm brewing. She didn’t move. Didn’t breathe. The second the last person left, she turned on me. "What the fuck, Clyde?" she exploded. I smirked. "I love it when you cuss, baby." "This is not the time for jokes!" Her voice was sharp, edged with frustration. "You bought the company I work for

  • Dangerous Love   Dream of me

Allison’s POV"Ahhh, mmm yes! Oh, Clyde… yes, harder! Please!""Take all of this cock, baby… yes, it’s all yours!”Our cries of pleasure filled the penthouse, echoing through the vast glass walls that overlooked the glittering city below. I was pressed up against them, my breath fogging the cold surface, my body feverish from the relentless way he drove into me. My heels helped me keep up with his towering height, but the force of his thrusts made it near impossible to stay upright. The night had unraveled into this frenzy the moment he ordered me to take my panties off in the car, his wicked smirk promising ruin. And ruin me he did. His mouth was on me in seconds, his head buried between my legs as the car sped through the streets. The driver had turned crimson when we finally stepped out, and so had I. But Clyde? He didn’t care. He never cared about anything but what he wanted. And what he wanted was me. The second the elevator doors slid open, he had me against the wall, hi

  • Dangerous Love   Soon baby

Allison’s POVThe sharp glare of sunlight cut through the curtains, burning through my closed lids. A groan escaped my lips as I shifted, stretching out against the cool sheets. My body ached—not in exhaustion but in the sweetest reminder of last night. My skin still tingled with the ghost of Clyde’s touch. Heat rushed to my face as memories flooded in. The way he had taken me against the glass, the rough possessiveness in his voice, the way he worshiped me like I was his last breath of air. And then the humiliation. I buried my face in my hands. *God, how do I ever face Diego and the others again?* I forced myself up, glancing around the vast bedroom. The space was eerily quiet. No hushed murmurs, no deep voice telling me to come closer, no strong arms pulling me back into bed. He was gone. Again. A sharp pang twisted in my chest, annoyance curling hot in my gut. He always did this—disappearing in the mornings, slipping away like a shadow in the dark. He never woke me.

  • Dangerous Love   Trapped in Darkness

Allison’s POVDarkness. That was all I could see. I tried to move, but my limbs wouldn’t respond. My head throbbed, my body ached, and as I struggled against the numbness creeping through my muscles, a flood of memories rushed back. The parking lot. A hand clamping over my mouth. A sharp sting at the back of my head. And then… nothing. Panic clawed its way up my throat as I tried to cry out, only to realize my mouth was gagged with cloth. My breathing grew ragged. How long had I been here? Where the hell *was* here? A creak echoed in the silence. My stomach twisted as heavy footsteps approached, each step deliberate, slow, like they were enjoying the fear crawling beneath my skin. “My, my… the princess has awakened.” That voice. My blood turned to ice. It was familiar, yet dripping with something sinister. Before I could process it, rough fingers yanked the gag from my mouth. I gasped, sucking in desperate lungfuls of air, my throat dry and burning. “Who are you?

  • Dangerous Love   For your sanity

Clyde’s POV The entire room fell silent the moment Diego dropped the news. A tension so thick it choked the air, leaving me in a state of quiet rage. For starters, we had no fucking idea who might have taken her. Dozens of names came to mind, enemies I’d made just by existing. Being the drug lord of one of the largest cartels on the continent came with its pitfalls, and this—this was a fucking nightmare. My body was numb through the flight, my fingers curled into fists on my lap, eyes fixed out the window. I wasn’t thinking about the bloodshed that might follow. I wasn’t thinking about the repercussions. I was thinking about *her.* How scared she must be. If she was crying. If she was hurt. And if she was—if she so much as had a fucking scratch on her—I'd burn the city to the ground. Hours of painstaking work later, my tech team finally restored the CCTV footage from the hotel’s parking lot. The damn thing had been sabotaged—shut down for just a few minutes, right when s

  • Dangerous Love   The devil’s deal

Clyde’s POV The mart stank of blood, gasoline, and fear. A single overhead bulb flickered weakly, casting a yellowish hue over the bruised man kneeling at my feet. One of his eyes was swollen shut—a gift from Diego’s fists—and his cracked lips trembled with desperation.“Where is she?” I asked, my voice a low snarl that slithered through the room like venom. Cold. Controlled. Lethal. The old man’s breath came in short gasps. “Please… I only lent her a phone. That’s all, I swear—God knows I don’t know where she went.”Wrong answer.Without needing to speak, I tilted my chin at Diego. The crack of bone followed. The man crumpled to the ground with a strangled cry, fingers scrambling to clutch my legs like a dying prayer.“Please… spare me,” he whimpered, voice thick with phlegm and regret. “Sir… I beg of you.”I kicked him off with a slow, merciless motion, my boot slamming into his chest. My rage was a living thing now—black, hot, and crawling beneath my skin.Grabbing his collar, I y

The room echoed with the loud shot, the crack of it splitting the air like a lightning strike. My ears rang for seconds, sharp and shrill, as if the sound itself had buried into my skull.Fear gripped me in a stranglehold. My heart stopped—just stopped—as the moment stilled, suspended in a nightmare. The chandelier above quivered, then came crashing down with a heavy, jarring thud, shards scattering across the floor like glittering knives. When I open my eyes, they meet Saida’s—and what I see there sends a shiver down my spine. Fear. Real, gut-deep fear. For a second, I don’t know if it’s hers or mine. Then his voice slices through the tension like a blade, cold and cruel, dragging us back into the horror. He made the shot. Of course, he did."I swear the next bullet will be piercing through your skull, Saida," he gritted out, voice low and sharp like gravel. His hand didn’t flinch. The gun was still pressed into her head, the metal digging into her skin like a promise."Do not spoi

  • Dangerous Love   Men, they’ll never stop needing more

Allison’s POVThe darkness stretched deeper than I could imagine—thick and suffocating. My weary mind drifted through it, lost in the endless struggle between myself and the world. Between reality and madness. If a person could sit still for this long, tied up and barely breathing, without losing their mind… it would be considered magic. If that kind of shit was even real. But I was still here. Still breathing. Barely. And even in this void of silence and cold, all I could think about—was him.Clyde.The images came uninvited, sharp and vivid. Him with blood on his hands. Him orchestrating a drug empire with that calm, lethal stare. It didn’t have to make sense. The stories weren’t supposed to rhyme. But they did. They rhymed too well. Too perfectly. Like a puzzle I hadn’t meant to solve. Now here I was. Shackled. Nearly naked. Freezing. Bones aching and bruised, skin raw against the stone floor—but none of it compared to the pain burning in my stupid heart. And then—footsteps.Echoes

  • Dangerous Love   Death on my breath

Clyde’s POVThe harshness of the alcohol burned my skin as I rode through the city at speed, darkness wrapping around me like an old friend. That familiar numbness, that rage-filled silence, swallowed me whole. I stared hard at the latest picture on my phone. That same damn number. A new set of photos. This time, she was clad in only her underwear, chained to a bed. She looked smaller than she had this morning. And my cold, cursed heart ached beyond words. “We’ll get her back, Clyde. I promise you.” Diego’s voice rang out inside the car. I was holding the phone so tight it might snap in half. Too late. I was fucking too late. Now I had even bigger problems than before. The warehouse had been three hours out of the city. When we got to the cafeteria they were both gone. Will and my girl. And just when I tried to figure out where the hell they’d gone, my phone beeped again. That same number. That sick, twisted image of my precious lamb. Caught in bondage. And a m

  • Dangerous Love   Your boyfriend is not who he claims to be

Allison’s POV Every part of me burned with worry as I made my way across the street. The cafeteria's light spilled into the dark alley, but it did nothing to lighten my mood. It was a blur—this moment of weakness. Accepting this invitation even when I knew, deep down, that this single meeting could destroy everything. Fortes worth saving. Or not? My eyes landed on him as I strolled into the cafeteria. It’s always been our favorite spot from when we were teenagers, a place etched with too many memories to count. He smiled and waved at me as I approached. But when I got close, I realized—his bruises had darkened. Clyde definitely hit him hard. A sharp pang filled my chest, tight and unforgiving. All this was my fault. "I can't say how proud I am of you for coming." "Get to the fucking point." I snapped. He smirked, but he must have expected that. He shrugged it off like it didn’t sting. His gaze dragged over my body, definitely laughing at my outfit for the

The gates slid open to the warehouse compound—my other face of business. A laundry façade out front for anyone stupid enough to get curious, but the real shit was buried in the belly of the building. Drugs. Guns. Power. My men stood tall at the gates, weapons strapped, eyes alert. The moment they saw me, they straightened up. I was the king in my fucking empire—and tonight, I wasn’t in the mood for delays.“Is everything in order?” I snapped as we stepped out.“Yes, Boss,” one answered immediately. “This way.”I walked past rows of tables stacked with wrapped bricks of cocaine, watched by trusted hands who wouldn’t dare skim a gram. It reeked of power, of money, of a life soaked in blood and secrets. This was me. This was who I fucking was.Scar met us near the back, his face grim.Scar nodded and motioned us to the surveillance room. • Dangerous Love   Assumptions ruin things

Clyde’s POVThe hum of the engine was the only thing that filled the silence.I sat in the backseat, elbows braced on my knees, fingers laced together so tight my knuckles had turned white. My jaw was locked, muscles ticking. I hadn't said a word since we left the house. Not because I had nothing to say—but because if I opened my mouth, I'd probably tear the fucking world apart.Will.That name alone made the blood in my veins sizzle.I could still see them—Allison and that bastard—in my mind like it was branded behind my eyelids. Him leaning too damn close. Whispering something into her ear, like he had a right. His hand… grazing her arm. Bare skin. Her skin. And she let him. Fuck. She didn’t move. Didn’t shove him away. Didn’t scream. Just stood there and let him breathe her in like she belonged to him.If she wasn’t guilty, then why the fuck did she let him touch her?My lungs were tight. Breathing hurt. My thoughts were a mess—raw, jagged pieces cutting through what little contr

  • Dangerous Love   Love has me crying again

So without thinking, I ran between them, heart thundering, body trembling, barely able to catch his raised fist before it slammed into Will’s jaw. “Please…” My voice cracked, the word hanging in the air like a plea to God. My tears streamed freely down my face, burning hot trails across my skin. “Let. Go.” Clyde’s voice was low and rough—no longer the man who had made love to me just minutes ago, who’d kissed my lips like he worshipped me. This voice was cold. Controlled. Lethal. “Please don’t.” I sobbed again, wrapping my hand tighter around his, but he yanked it free with terrifying force and landed a brutal punch on Will. The sickening sound of knuckles meeting flesh rang out through the room. My lips quivered. I pressed my palm to my mouth to stifle the scream clawing its way up my throat. “How fucking dare you?!” Clyde roared, voice thick with fury, slamming his fist into Will again. And again. “No! Please stop!” I cried, voice raw, almost unrecognizable. I was shakin

  • Dangerous Love   It's about your boyfriend

Allison’s POVThe worst part of loving someone is knowing you hurt—yet deep down, you still can’t let go.Just like always, he’d done unimaginable things to my body. The kind of pleasure only he could offer. And I’d taken all of it—willingly, shamelessly, with every part of me that still ached from loving him.Even as my heart throbbed beneath the weight of his secrets, I found myself curling deeper into his arms. Those strong arms that feel like home. That shield me from the bitter, cruel world. That hold me like I’m something precious—when everything else feels like it’s falling apart. Our naked bodies were tangled in the sheets of my bed, skin against skin, warmth against warmth. His soft, steady breathing fanned across my face as he slept, lips parted, lashes casting faint shadows over his cheeks. I couldn’t help but stare. God, he was beautiful. Even with the slight gauntness in his cheeks, even with the weight he’d lost… he was still breathtaking. Still mine. “I’m up for anot
