Abeni was laying on her bed when there was a knock at her door. She wondered who it could be, and as she sat up and asked who was there, she found herself face-to-face with one of Dmitry's men. He handed her a phone and said Dmitry had asked him to give it to her.

Abeni took the phone, feeling a mix of excitement and unease. She turned it on and saw tons of missed calls from her best friends Naledi, Camillie, and Elena, her mother, and work colleague Jessica.

Abeni knew Dmitry wouldn't give her the phone without tracking what she said, so she had to be careful. She decided to call her mother first.

"Abeni!" her mother exclaimed emotionally when she heard Abeni's voice. "It's so good to hear you!"

"Mam, I-" Abeni started.

"No need to explain, Mr. Kuznetsov already told me everything!" her mother interjected.
