I came out from my office and stared at the figure from a clearer view and it was no other person than the fair lady from the night before. She looked more beautiful than I expected. What was she doing here? Unless she was Miss Swift? I thought.
I returned to my office and I continued watching the Duo from the screen. Chole has never been this comfortable with any woman, even her nanny. I picked up my phone and texted Raymond. “Quick background check of Miss Swift".
Few minutes later, I received an email.
“Fullname: Irene Swift. Hair color: brown. Eyes color: brown. Degree: Bachelor in Business administration, masters in Public administration. Age: 26. Marital status: single for almost four years. Social scandal: none. Hobbies: Reading and swimming.”
I kept going through the email and I found nothing wrong. She appeared like the most perfect lady I have met in a while. My doubts kicked in and the memories of the other night flashed again.
After a stressful busy day, I stood at the hotel's balcony with a glass of water to cool my nerves. I got back to the bedroom to find a woman's clothing all over, to my surprise I saw a beautiful woman wrapped in my towel. This was enough reason to get angry, but I couldn't.
Her eyes were lost and her bare body before me was a trigger. I have never lost control over a woman since I lost Chole's mom. Over the years, I had passed many more tempting women, but this was hard. Immediately her hands touched my face, I got hard in seconds. My own hands had minds of their own and they caressed her waist softly.
Immediately we kissed, I perceived an offensive smell, it was alcohol! I tried pushing off, but my body was hell mad over the perfect body I had seen in five years. From her soft breasts to her moist, slippery and tight pu**y, to her soft body I totally lost control. I held her in my arms as I buried myself deeply in her.
That was the best part of my day. It felt different with her. After our intense moment, I watched her slowly fall asleep. In the shower, I stood thinking about all that just happened. A strange woman who got her way to my bed was no mistake. The only thing I could think of was scandal.
At dawn, I neatly arranged my work documents and her clothes before heading out. I couldn't leave without having a conversation with her. For the first time, I felt I had done something wrong. After paying her, she rejected the offer and tried to manipulate her way. I had come across many others like her. I understood their tricks.
Before leaving, I had kept a post pill with a threatening note on the table. Few hours later, I received a call from my hotel manager. He had informed me of the money that was found in the room I had passed the night. I smirked and asked him to keep it as a tip.
Guilt had pricked my mind. I felt strange for judging her wrongly or not getting to know her better. Getting to see her today as Miss Swift, was hard to balance. I kept watching from the screen and noticed how perfect her smile was.
Immediately she stepped in, I perceived a familiar perfume. It was from the other night. No doubt, Miss Swift was the woman from the other night. I couldn't keep in my guilt the moment she stepped in, I had to turn away immediately she entered.
I listened to her talk with so much elegance, fluency and potential. I was almost tempted to turn around. I was interested in helping her, but I thought of a price for my help but I could barely see anything. I thought harder and Chole came to my mind. Yes!!! Chole.
Chole had been throwing tantrums of late, and her therapist had advised that I get Chole a female influence. A friend, relative, grandma or something. All of these were nearly impossible. Chole had none of these. I was her only relative and friend? There was none I could trust.
Seeing Irene's connection with Chole, I immediately imagined them as a mom and daughter. For the first time, I thought of replacing Naomi. I turned to meet her and noticed Chole too. Did this lady bring in a child she just met to her meeting? I walked to Chole and instructed her to go wait at the secretary's office.
I noticed how uneasy my presence made Irene. She almost passed out. Seeing her battle that hard, I immediately felt bad for not getting to hear her explain further. I have always known how to hide my feelings, this time it wasn't difficult.
I stated my terms to her and she was not pleased! She was totally speechless and nervous. I understood she needed time to think it through, I gave her 30 hrs to think it through. Immediately she turned to leave,I noticed how well curvy of a woman she was. I shamelessly looked away and continued with my activities.
Irene's POV.
I walked out of Damien's office with my heart raising fast. I desperately waited for the elevator before dashing in like I was being chased by a monster. Immediately I noticed Damien was the strange man from the hotel, I felt like burying myself.
What would a man who humiliated me want from me? I got to the reception and signaled Madison and we stepped out together as she struggled to keep up with my pace. “Ma'am, what happened? Hey!" Madison tried to keep up but I hurriedly entered the car and slammed the door.
I tried to digest all that going on but I couldn't. From a sweet child, to a man willing to help me and finally a contract from a man who doesn't respect me?. “You are driving Maddie” I said tossing the car to her. Madison quickly changed seats and took over the wheels.
I noticed Madison's curious gaze throughout our way home from the rear mirror. She had a lot of questions and I wasn't in the mood to explain them all to her. I got to my room and Madison's voice wouldn't stop trailing behind me.
“Irene, I deserve to know what is going on!! You should see me as a best friend now and not your personal assistant. I need to know if it ended well or like the others. There is no time to waste. We need to keep moving and I need you to say something first, “ she said, controlling her breath.
I reluctantly agreed and sat on the sofa. I took off my wristwatch and let go of my hair and a few buttons. “He agreed to help. But I don't know if I can accept his hands” I said, slightly moved to tears. Madison hurriedly sat beside me with a smile “this is good news Irene. Yes!!" She exclaimed.
“What were his terms? Did he demand half the company or a larger part of the company's outcome?” She asked. I silently nodded NO. "He didn't ask for a dime. He asked me to be his child's mom" I said with a broken heart. The space stopped and I could notice Madison's shock.
After minutes of silence, Madison took water from the dispenser and swallowed it up in a gulp. "He wants you to be his surrogate? She asks almost whispering. I looked at Madison in surprise " hell no Maddie”. I kept my pace and tried so hard to break it for Madison.
Two years later: Two years later and I still couldn’t stop gushing over my woman. Irene was perfect in her wedding dress. I stood at the altar with Raymond behind me and watched her walk down the aisle with her dad. Her wedding dress enhanced all her curves and complimented her beauty. She was my own monalisa. The music stopped as soon as she got to the altar. She stood in front of me and I could tell that she was blushing. I took her hands as directed by the officiating priest and it was time to exchange our wedding vows. I took a deep breath and looked at all the guests present. I looked at Madison who held her baby, Cole who was wearing the brightest smile in the room, her dad who was really emotional and my daughter amongst other guests. Chole sat down in the first roll with her phone, ready to capture as many moments as possible. She gave me a thumbs up and a smile. Chole was extremely gorgeous in her pink lace dress. I turned my attention to the epitome of beau
It has been five days and a case has already been filed. Cole had given his testimony and Raymond had submitted the cctv footage to my lawyer as evidence. Chole had been discharged and she was staying at Irene's father's house with Cole and Madison. I was still at the hospital with my wife, watching up every morning expecting her to breathe and call my name. I looked outside the window and sighed heavily. My life was going through circles. I feared Irene would leave me the same way Sylvia did. I was confused and scared. The doctor has been assuring me since day one that she would be fine. It was almost a week, five working days and she has been the same. “Good morning Mr Damien '' , I heard Cole’s voice. He walked in with a simple smile and a food flask. “You didn’t have to bro” I responded weakly. He dropped the flask by the drawer and sat next to Irene. “You didn’t eat last night. You need strength to take care of Irene, Chole and me” he smiled. My stomach grumbled
Damien went berserk when the police informed him about the accident. He yelled “my wife and my baby!”. Damien moved past the police and I followed him. We got to the scene and it was Irene’s car. My hands were shaking, my whole body was covered with goosebumps. Damien rushed through the police and got to the car. He banged the car and cried in frustration. I walked to him and held his hand. The paramedics helped in bringing out chole. She had a few cuts from the glass but she passed out. They carried her to the other ambulance. The other team brought out my sister and it was bad. Very bad. She was bleeding everywhere and it was very obvious that she had broken bones. Damien squeezed my hand as he saw his wife. We were restricted by the police from coming closer to her. Damien got back to the car and drove in a rush to the hospital. As we waited in the waiting room, Madison and Dad rushed in. they were more panicked than we were. I hugged Madison and assured her all was going
ANNABEL’S POV. “Good morning baby”, Joses kissed my cheeks with a warm smile on his face. I stretched my hands and yawned tiredly. “Good morning “ I responded. I was living my best three days after Damien almost ruined my life. I noticed he had brought me breakfast and I smiled warmly as I took it from him. Joses left to get my vitamins. After trying all I could to get Jose back, I finally got the idea. All he wanted was money to get a yacht. I called in my lawyer and made a few of my properties up for sale. In two days, I got a buyer and signed the necessary documents. I called Joses. He eventually agreed to meet me. As soon as he walked in, I handed him the check he needed for his yacht. He hugged me spinned me around and kissed me. Since that day,he has worshiped me. I started getting back my life together. I had all the pleasure I needed, money and beauty. He got back with the vitamins and handed them to me. “How did it go last night?” he asked curiously. I
Tears ran down my face as I watched the final session of the interview. I couldn’t understand how the universe found me fortunate enough to have a god for a husband. Damien is a dream come through for me. “Mommy, I am done” Chole’s voice was a prompt for me to wipe my face. I cleaned my face and went through what she had written. “Good girl” I applauded. That evening, we ate dinner alone without Damien. At 10pm, Damien got back stressed and tired. He skipped dinner and went straight to bed. The next morning, I was up and popping. I was getting back to work after a long time and I had planned to make my husband breakfast. I got to the kitchen and started cooking. In no time, I was done. I served it on the best tray in the mansion and carried it upstairs myself. I gently pushed the door and placed the tray on the bed. I hung the curtains and leaned over to kiss him. I gave him a warm passionate french kiss. Damien moaned softly from his sleep as he woke up. “Good mor
“Hey!! Why are you two fighting over my best friend’s baby?” I joined their argument. “You should give a grand kid too” my dad fired back. With just one statement, I was off track. I laughed and listened to them argue over and over. After a while, my dad turned his attention to me. “ Irene, how is your husband? I still remembered how I fought tirelessly with him when I learnt about your marriage to him” he laughed. “Cole, i almost shot Damien on the head” he laughed harder. “I am glad Madison was able to make me see reasons. He takes care of you and the company too. I couldn’t have wished for a more competent inlaw” he bragged. Cole nodded and agreed immediately. “Dad, he is a great husband to my sister, '' Cole added and said many things that I couldn't pay much attention to. As soon as the word ‘sister’ left his mouth, I felt goosebumps. I felt emotional immediately and felt like hugging him. I didn’t know what was coming over me, so I got up from my seat and h
