Chapter Eighty two

Collin stared at me like a moron and allowed me to try to get the chip off his hands but I couldn't. He blocked me off and pushed me away. “What are you doing? Are you that dumb !! Shit" I cursed. Collin walked out of the room and locked the door from outside leaving me and Irene trapped in the room. I watched Collin from the window pack up his things slowly with his wounded arm and left with his men.

I banged on the door yelling and pleading with Collin to let me out but I banged in vain. I leaned on the door and slowly leaned My head on it. It began to make more sense to me, Jerry was right, I was all alone. I fell down in defeat with tears in my eyes and regret on my face. I stared at Irene and noticed she was breathing weakly. Seeing her in that state gave me a ray of hope.

“I didn't lose after all! You are definitely going to die” I whispered. This time, Irene didn't get back at me as usual. She raised her head, looked at me and passed out.
