William's POV

As the morning sun began to rise, I woke up and looked at the beautiful forest. As I closed my eyes to take in the warmth of the sun, I heard the sound of someone approaching me.

I opened my eyes to see the captain standing before me, his face grave.

"Good morning," he said, his voice serious. "I need to talk to you about something important."

I felt a shiver of unease run down my back. "What is it, Captain?"

He took a deep breath, as if collecting himself before continuing. "The survivors we brought aboard yesterday," he began. "They're not who we thought they were."

I felt a sense of confusion and betrayal wash over me. "What do you mean?"

The captain took another deep breath, and I could see the strain in his eyes. "They're members of a rival cartel," he said, his voice low. "And they've been indirectly causing us trouble through missed pirate attacks on our ship."

I felt the world spinning around me. "What are you saying?" I asked, my voice rising in confusion

William's POV Thomas approached me and spoke softly, "Sir, I have some news. I have learned of a wonder plant being grown in the east. It produces a sap that is very valuable, but the prices are inflated by intermediaries. If we can buy directly from the farmers, we can save a fortune and fill our ship with the sap." I listened intently, my low growls filling the air as I considered his words. "Explain," I said, my voice low and commanding. "The plant is called the 'miracle tree,' and it is said to have healing properties unlike any other plant," Thomas said, his voice low and firm. "The sap is highly prized by apothecaries and alchemists alike, and it is said to have the power to heal even the most serious of injuries." I nodded. "And the farmers are willing to sell to us?" I asked. "That's the best part, Captain," Thomas replied. "I have spoken to several farmers and they are desperate to sell their crop to us directly. They have been cheated by the intermediaries for far too l

"Finally, we'll be on land again." Thomas nodded, a smile on his face as well. "Yeah, it feels like ages since we left the last port," he said. "And when we get there," I said, my voice filled with excitement. "I think it would be a good idea if the four of us went shopping." Thomas looked at me, a look of curiosity on his face. "Shopping? What do you mean?" he asked. "Well," I said. "We're going to be living in Eastern Europe for a while, so I think it would be a good idea if we got some things to settle down and make ourselves comfortable." "That's actually a great idea," Thomas said, nodding. "I think we'll need some supplies for the journey as well." "Exactly," I said, feeling thrilled that Thomas was agreeing with my plan. "We can go shopping for food, water, and other necessities." "And maybe even

Mia exclaimed, running up to me. "We have so much to show you!" I smiled, eager to see the treasures they had discovered. "Lead the way," I replied, following Mia as she charged down the hallways, chattering a mile a minute about the stores she had visited. As we entered my cabin, Mia eagerly began laying out our purchases on the bed, her eyes twinkling with anticipation. "Look at this, look at this!" she exclaimed, picking up a beautiful silk scarf. "I found the most amazing shop on the corner, and they had this and so much more!" I marveled at the scarf, the delicate pattern and soft material a perfect addition to my wardrobe. "It's beautiful," I said, feeling a warm sense of gratitude towards Mia for her thoughtful gift. "I also got you some chocolate," she added, pulling a box out of her bag. "It's f

We're going into the city soon." I sat up in bed, blinking away the sleepiness from my eyes. "How soon?" I asked, my voice still a bit tired. William shrugged, a mischievous smile spreading across his face. "As soon as we finish breakfast," he said. "And I promise you're going to love the place we're going to. It's a beautiful café with some of the most incredible cakes and coffee in the world. Plus, there's a great little bookstore just around the corner. We're going to have an amazing time." William's POV I woke up in my cabin, stretching and rubbing my eyes to clear the sleepiness from them. Even though I'd only slept for a few hours, I felt more refreshed and ready for the day ahead than I had any right to. Suddenly, I heard a knock at my door and I sat up. "Who is it?" I asked, not bothering to get out of bed as I was feeling a bit lazy. "Thomas," came the response. "Get ready, we're being followed by another ship," Thomas said, and my excitement turned to unease. I got out of bed, feeling my heart begin to pound with concern. "What should we do?" I asked. Thomas paused for a moment, considering our options. "We need to prepare for an attack," he said finally. "We can't let them catch up to us." I nodded, determined. "Let's do it." Together, Thomas and I began to prepare the ship and its crew for whatever might come. I quickly rushed to my closet and grabbed my favorite jeans. I struggled to pull them up, my hands shaking with anticipation. My heart was poundi

Ava's POV As I woke up, I heard a commotion on the deck above me. I swung my legs off the bed and made my way to the deck where I saw Mia and several other crew members huddled around the bow of the ship, staring intently at the land in the distance. "Ava, take a look!" Mia called out, pointing towards the land. "We're almost there!" She turned to me with a huge smile, her eyes sparkling with a mix of trepidation and joy. "I can't believe it," she exclaimed, "We've finally made it! After all these weeks, all those time at sea, we're finally here!" "I know, Mia, it's been a long journey, but we've made it." I reached out and wrapped an arm around her shoulder, pulling her into a hug. As we stood there, locked in each other's arms, the sky above us grew brighter by the second. I heard William calling out to me from across the ship. "Ava, get ready! We'll be in port by nightfall! Make sure everything is in order!" I quickened my step, feeling the excitement build within me. Ava's POV “Hey!” Thomas greeted us warmly as soon as we arrived at the office of Thomas' fruit sap contact and he greeted us warmly. After a little bit of conversation, he took us on a tour of his fruit farms. As we walked through the fields, we saw rows upon rows of fruit trees, filled to the brim with delicious fruit. I could see William and Thomas' eyes light up as they gazed upon the sight. "This is incredible," I heard William say, "I've never seen anything like it before." "I know, right? It's pretty amazing," I replied, feeling a sense of awe wash over me. As we got closer to the harvest, Thomas' sap contact explained the process to us. "The fruit is harvested by hand," he said, "but we've also developed a new technique that uses new techniques to help speed up the process." William and I looked at each other, impressed. As we watched the fruit harvesting process, I couldn't help but feel a sense of joy. It felt like I was a part of something special; something that was ma

William nodded. “you are right. He most likely wants to discuss some of our Clan's issues. it is really stressful, you know. Being an Alpha, I have to stay and take care of my Clan. I can not even have some time to myself,” he complained with a sigh. “But, it is not like I hate it. I love my Clan and they make my work easier by always complying and doing the right thing. They also work hard.” I smiled and planted a kiss on him. “you are a great Alpha.” We made our way to meet my Dad. “Where's Robert, the Alpha?” William asked a maid and she pointed to the meeting room. “He's in the meeting room. Mia's POV I approached Thomas who was on the beach, standing next to the shore and watching the waves. The sun set slowly below the horizon, casting a warm orange glow over the sea and enhancing the features of Thomas’ face. “Thomas, you wanted to talk to me?” I said as I approached him. He looked back and saw me, his eyes glinting in the moonlight. “Yes, I can not believe you came.” I walked closer to him. “I decided to hear you out. I was not being fair.” He nodded. “thank you so much.” We sat there in silence for a while. “So, what did you want to talk to me about?” I asked, trying to maintain a casual voice. He looked deep into my eyes. “Mia, I want to assure you that Emma and I are just friends and I will have no relationship with her. She even tried to deceitfully use my son to take money from me and that is the reason I haven't talked to you in a month.” I frowned. “How could she do that? Using her own child to pursue her greed? Did she succeed?” Thomas shook his head

Ava's POV “Mia?” I knocked on her door carefully. “Mia?” I called again. The door creaked open and Mia stood, looking at me with bright eyes. “Ava, what are you doing here?” “I came to check up on you,” I answered. “can not I do that for my best friend?” She smiled and let me in. “No, that is not what I meant. You know I have noticed something since you two got married.” I looked up at her, curious. “What is it?” “it is just that you two have spent more time indoors. You guys hardly ever come out,” she joked. Heat started to creep up my cheeks. “Mia, stop.” She shrugged. “Well, at least no one's here to stop you two so I understand.” Laughing, I started to hit Mia and she dodged each one, laughing in return. “I am not lying Ava,” she said between la

William's POV “Thomas, she needs space. Give her some time and she will come around,” I told my beta after he narrated everything that happened last night. “I know,” he said, hanging his head. “I will give her as much time as she needs to make a decision. All I need now is one more chance with her.” I patted him comfortingly on his back. “Thomas, I know you are a good wolf and you are willing to take a chance. I know you want to make things right with Mia and fix your relationship with her, but I feel like it would be difficult.” Thomas nodded. “I know I have been a terrible lover to Mia. She does not deserve me and I know that. But I hope that she finds it in her heart to see my side of the story and forgive me for everything I have done. I hope she sees the good in me and accepts me back into her life.” “She will,” I assured him. “Just keep hoping Thomas.” “I really wish I can help Thomas and Mia but I have no idea what to do to bring them back together,” I thought to myself. “

Mia's POV “I am so happy for Ava,” I said, lying on my bed in my room, lost in thoughts. “She found such a perfect mate; someone she loves and someone that loves her too.” I let out a deep sigh, turning in my bed. “William would never break Ava's trust. He would never do what Thomas did to me.” I fought back tears because I did not want to cry for Thomas anymore. I let out a shaky breath. “I wish I could end up happy like Ava. I really thought I wanted a chase but it turns out, I want someone to stay with me. Seeing William and Ava's happy faces and hearing their laughter during their wedding made me realize that.” “Mia,” my father said, knocking and entering into my room. “Mia, are you still crying?” he asked, his voice sounding feeling a bit worried and I wiped my tears away. “No,” I said, my voice was barely above a whisper. He sat down next to me and let out a deep sigh in frustration. “I warned you to stay away from that wolf but you did not listen and went on that trip wit

Thomas' POV I was furious at Emma. She was not letting me see my son, and she kept telling me it was all my fault. “She did not even let me know I had a baby so how's it my fault,” I told William, pacing the room, fuming with anger. “She was the one who got up and left the morning after our one night stand so why would she put all the blame on me?” William looked down thoughtfully, “So, what do we do about all of this?” My head has been a mess since all this started and I have tried, but I can not come up with any solution to fix things. I let out a deep sigh out of frustration and said, “I do not know what to do to fix things. I swear I have no idea.” I clucked my tongue. “That… Emma, she did not tell me about my son for two years and then she comes back into my life all of a sudden and ruins my relationship with Mia.” I ran my fingers through my hair. Mia was mad at me. Everything was out of my control. William then placed a calming hand on my shoulder. “Thomas, we will figure
