Magnus thought of staying close by in case Sunny needed him for answers, but his mother had her arm wrapped through Sunny’s and offered to give her a tour of the yacht while they caught up on the past year of her son’s life.

“Heaven knows he doesn’t tell me everything. I know nothing about you, my dear Sunny,” Tora muttered through a wry smile, pinching Magnus’s arm when she passed.

“I’m sorry about that, Tora. I told him to call. I really did,” Sunny chided, “but you know how busy he can be. The company is eating up all his free time… Magnus is always so wrapped up in his work. He is quite passionate about it.”

“Sadly, my sweet girl, I do. In case you didn’t notice, I married the original,” Tora said gloomily with a wink, and both women laughed.

“I admire Magnus’s dedication, I really do, but sometimes I wish he’d enjoy life more,” Sunny continued after a few seconds.
