The day became brighter and the loud chirping sounds of the birds caused Rose to wake up from her slumber.

Her hands apart on the bed which served as a balance as she sat up, stretched and yawned. She must have had a restful night after all that drama earlier.

She also came to her senses as she realized that she was just next to Daniel, her husband on the bed.

She was filled with utmost confusion about what to do. She did not know If she was supposed to wake him

up, get breakfast or maybe get his medications.

As she was busting figuring out what to do with herself for him, Daniel coughed. She became worried and rushed towards him.

She grabbed a bottle of water which was by the bedside and gave it to him. Getting closer, she noticed that he was actually awake using his phone. He probably woke up before her too.

They both made eye contact and remained silent for a while.
