He was sitting on the black couch in Sarah's apartment. It has been a week since the court verdict and he was there to see his daughter officially for the first time. The next morning, Lauren came by to his room early and took away the signed paperwork and immediately she left the house, Ron too began to pack his bags to leave. The house was a gift to them from Lauren's father so now that they are getting divorced, he saw no reason to still live there. So, shortly after Lauren left the house, Ron took his luggage and left too. When he left Lauren's house that early morning, he went straight to his home. He got home but his parents were not yet awake so he took advantage of the situation, he prepared quickly for work and left without seeing his parents. When he left his home, he drove straight to Sarah's house, he needed to take his daughter to school. Later that day, when he came back from the office at night, his parents gave him his divorce. The car made an abrupt halt infront of Sarah's apartment building. It was Ron bringing Sarah and his daughter back home after meeting his parents. It was dusk and the sky was already dark, the stars glittering from the sky. Immediately the car stopped, Sarah came out of it and Rachel did too. The last person to alight was Ron and when he did, he kissed his daughter goodbye and told her to go inside the house, she did. He watched as the girl ran into the house and when she was gone, the door firmly bolted behind her, he turned back to Sarah. They both stared at each other silently for a long time."I divorced Lauren." Ron suddenly blurted out, breaking the silence.Sarah's brows raised in surprise. She had heard the news, seen it on a blog but it was put there as a rumour. Neither the news channel nor the blogger's wall confirmed the news so, it remained a rumour. She had wanted to ask Ron if the rumours were true but she did not, she did not want to prey into the man's personal life.

Immediately she went inside the restaurant, she saw Gladys Diego. The woman was sitting not so far from the door so it wasn't so hard to find her. Gladys had called Sarah some days ago and asked if they could meet, the older woman said she had something very important she wanted to tell Sarah. Of course, Sarah refused to see the woman at first but after so much reassurance from Ron that nothing was going to happen, she decided to honour the woman and meet her. They were meeting in a restaurant, that was Sarah's only condition for meeting Gladys and surprisingly, the woman had agreed to it. So, there they were, siting opposite each other in a public place. Ron's mother was wearing one of those long and elegant dresses she always wear. This time, it was a peach colored, long dress with equal long sleeves and a turtle neck. 🍁🍁TWO MONTHS LATER.🍁🍁Everything was ready for the wedding, the Diego mansion was flocked with staff members going in and out of the house. Flowers were everywhere and even the weather was beautiful, the sky was blue and clear. Ron was in his room and he was sitting on the couch that was at the right corner of the room. Infront of him was a bottle of Hennessy and a glass cup on a glass table, he was drinking but responsibly, he wasn't going to get drunk. He was not the only one in the room, there were four other men who were there too. They were his friends who were going to be his bridal train, they were all dressed in black suits and they hung around the room, laughing and joking about how Ron loves weddings so much that he was going have second wedding. They walked rather slowly and when they finally got halfway through the aisle, Delores gave Ron a subtle hug and handed Sarah to him. "Take care of her." Delores whispered into the man's ear when they hugged.So when they disengaged from the subtle hug, Ron nodded at Delores and gave her a faint smile. "Beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the joining together of our children and friends." The priest suddenly spoke into the microphone in his hand, breaking the silence. His eyes suddenly flicked open and he sat up, panting heavily. Even though the air conditioner was working just fine and the room was freezing, his face and body were still covered with sweat, his eyes bloodshot. When he sat up on the bed, Sarah too woke up and sat up with him. The way he suddenly woke up got Sarah terrified and that is why she woke up too. When she looked at him, he was sweating profusely and breathing heavily. She wondered what was wrong with him and what he must have dreamt of on the night of their wedding that was so terrifying. She reached out and gently touched his shoulder and when she did that, he suddenly turned at her and jerked back in fright. He was still afraid of what ever happened in his dream. "Calm down, Ron.
