6. THE CANDLE BELIEF

The sky was dark, grey cloud covered and dull. The temperature was freezing cold with no snow.

Lizzy was driving her old model car  hurriedly with a sad expression with a vacant mind especially like something bad has definitely happened to her.

No Sandy and no Heaven was there beside her in the car. She was alone.

She looked into the photo frame which was hanged in the front of the car.

It was her little Heaven's photo...while driving she touched on it with her other hand and gave a flying kiss on it.

Even though she was driving, her mind was somewhere. Really she was in out of control.

There was no much people in road side. Usually there were joggers and walkers, lovers hand in hand, families having picnics etc..But today there were no...Did they understand Lizzy's mood and run away?

Luckily, by the grace of God, the young woman and her baby daughter who was crossing the road escaped from her car. 

If she didn't caught break there would be another accident might occur. Later there would be a blood mark in her life also. A blood mark which can only be compensate with her heart.

If the child had died without the mother dying, she would have lost it if she had another child, just as she had lost Heaven.

She is in the form in which the car was now parked on one side. She opened the door and came outside.

The mother of the child was in rage and showered bad words on her endlessly as well.

Though it was all bad words, she seemed it was a fast song for which her heart was longed for a time being.

After a long list of harsh words the child and mom went away from her. She already felt that the child of that lady had some similarity with Heaven.

When they left she sat on the road and cried a lot. Suddenly she noticed a church there.

Now she understood that she was far away from Sandy and Heaven.

When she saw the church she realised something. She went near it and entered into there with her right leg as she done before.

The interior of church was structured in the shape of a Christian cross. She slowly walked through the old designed carpet which was spread out between benches of both sizes into its inside. 

While walking she remembered the each and every incidents happened in her life in this past years.

She memorized her marriage day. Now she could see the four year back her in white beautiful gown there bowing with Sandy infront of their god Jesus after interchanging their rings each other.

She stared at the candles burning in front of christ's statue.

She just laughed and then her happy face faded fastly within seconds.

After interchanging rings, she could see now that Sandy whispering in her ears that there was a mysterious  reason behind god making them as pairs.

She could see the four year back her staring his activities with curious. 

He sat on his knees and then held his palm staight and showing infront of the burning candle by saying, 

"We all know that it does hurt while show our hand in front of a normal fire. But there is something special about this church.  If you do not feel pain when you hold your hand in front of these candles thinking of something that has a good desire in your mind, it will surely happen.

l got you because of me holding my hands always like this by wishing you as my wife. 

lf you have any eternal wish you can also do the same. lf you didn't has pain that wish will come true."

Now she could see four year back her also doing this in white gown with a wish by closing her eyes.

Also she could see Sandy mocking at her while she doing this as he made her prank.

She looked the surrounding, she could see the paths through which she ran behind Sandy when she understood he was just joking by saying that.

She could see her holding her long white gown and running after Sandy with an overjoy and hugging him and kissing him.

The tears started again flowing from her eyes which was looked like balloons now due to continuous crying.

She mumbled, " l heard that one's sex life was suffered a lot in winter but mine whole family was lost...

l don't have my own family, though my daughter and husband is alive but they are not mine now...they are now else others. 

Specially my Heaven... my sweat heart. How l spent my life without touching her in past this year?

How could I lost my daughter even though she has been with me for a year?  How could Sandy gave her to them?

Does it make sense that he gave our child to his brother and family for paying the loss of their daughter Rose? How they can restrict me from touching my own child? Heartless people.

Lizzy, you took a good decision. Since you lived in a hell there, it's a good decision for you and for your daughter. Atleast you can avoid her from hating you because of them."

She then went near that burning candles and knelt down. Then held her palm straight up on it and prayed for her daughter to be returned to her arms.

Though she felt pain first, as time increased she didn't felt any pain or burn. Really she sensed a good feeling through doing like that

She felt that though Sandy told that on wedding day as making her prank but today she felt that he said was true and this church had some speciality.

Then she went near her car with a hope in that candle belief.
