2024-10-29 19:42:56The just-risen sun shone softly on the sea giving a beautiful reflection in Keith and Kelsey’s suite. Keith felt some heat around his arm in spite of the cool temperature in the room and sensed that something was wrong.
He opened his eyes and saw that Kelsey was having a fever and she was shivering at the same time. He knew he needed to attend to her immediately before things got out of control so he slightly tapped her to wake up.
They only came on the trip with painkillers so he immediately called the hotel manager to get him a doctor. Within fifteen minutes, the doctor arrived and asked a series of questions to ascertain what could be wrong.
He gave her an injection to reduce the fever and he recommended enough rest for her as he suspected she must have been stressed up due to having to take care of three babies at the same time and she had been deprived of good sleep for a year.
